VampiricOmen✭✭✭NoI won't be taking advantage of the transfer despite having an Xbox One. It's still boxed as I have no interest in the two games I have on it at the moment. Looking forward to some releases later this year though!
I think it is a good deal, but I lose interest in console games far quicker than I do PC games as the TV I use is shared. On the other hand, the computer I use to play ESO is mine and only used by me, so there's no fighting over who gets to use it and when.0 -

indytims_ESO✭✭✭✭NoI own both Sony and MS platforms, yet I see no reason at all why I would want to switch to one of those platforms.
ES games were always meant to be played on the PC. That's just my opinion. It's great if they can port them to MS/Sony platforms, but I'll take a mouse/keyboard over a funky controller any day of the year.

Yeah, I have that on my PC. Well, minus the couch and controller. But a nice comfy chair, and flat-screen TV all the same.

I am not sure why anyone would:..where if you've purchased the pc version, prior to the specific date, you can get a digital DL for $20 on PS4/Xbox One and move your PC characters over...
The console players will be on a seperate set of servers.
They won't have chat (no buttons on a consoleto type)
They will likely not have addons (console manufaturere decision).
If they get native voice support, PC players will get it too.

ThisOnePosts✭✭✭✭✭I'll probably play it on one of the consoles, but I don't want to move my characters over -- unless I can transfer just one? If that's the case, that would be a good use of my ESO time in between content updates. I have different friends on consoles although it seems a lot of XBox players also play PC and vice versa -- and it's certainly the more "alive" of the two consoles for online play. I'm just curious how zone chat will work LOL. Will there be mic use in your local vicinity? Will it support having a keyboard and controller at once? These are some questions I'll like to see the answers to but I like the game a lot and would definitely give it a whirl on a console as well as keep playing on PC of course.0 -

Have you tried the game on a controller? It is so much faster than mouse/keyboard as it was basically designed for consoles.

Only complete idiots would ever put PC and console palyers on the same server/same environment (at least with the current consoles). They just don't mix. Period.

Nearly all other gaming activities are tied to my console, but that last thing can stay on PC.
Tbh, with 2 PCs and 1 console at home, playing together with my husband would be quite difficult if I wanted to do so on console.0 -
Moonscythe✭✭✭✭✭YesAbsolutely! I was always onboard for the console version. I played in the beta and that just confirmed my desire for my comfortable chair, big screen TV and a controller. I truly dislike gaming on a PC and never wanted to be part of the PC master race. I bought the PC version when the delay/transfer offer was announced and got a good deal on a leftover pre-release so it plus the transfer cost are still the same. I don't care about being on the same server since the friends I have made on the console forums are the ones I would be playing with anyway.
