NA Login Server Issues?

Is anyone else not able to log in to the NA server? I keep getting a timeout message.

I tried rebooting the client, and even restarting my computer. Nothing. I continue to get a timeout message.

I have now repaired my client - and still am unable to login. It continues to timeout, and if I try again immediately after receiving the timeout error message, I get a 301 message (3:1:1229:90098).

I am having the same problem. I keep getting the Error Code: "Login Timeout". I have never had any login issues prior to this. The game was running fine earlier today. I've tried multiple solutions found on the forums but nothing seems to work. My eso version is eso.live.1.1.4.1002774

UPDATE: I gave Venithar Method a try and it WORKED!!! After trying other numerous fixes, Venithar Method is the only one that worked and I was finally able to login into the server. Thanks @Venithar. I also made a new post with his fix for future Error 301/ Login Timeout victims.

I went ahead and submitted an actual support ticket, after trying several other things to fix it. Hopefully I'll have an answer soon.

I am on EU server and getting this timeout/ 301 error also.

After sending in a ticket, they send me a reply asking they need more information about the issue. Like if there are any specific errors i get...

While i clearly filled it in the ticket i send with the explanation...

Are they even reading the tickets?

EU Server. I was playing fine. Client crashed.

I reboot the PC, and now login times out asking to report for support.

Same here, @Elf_boy. I don't really want to be a name-dropper or anything, but let's just say I'm on friendly terms with several leaders in each Alliance and, well, to be frank even know a Daedric Prince or two...

The infinite loading screen may be something else, @Nebthet78. This error is "Login timeout" after about sixty seconds when you initially attempt to log in and upon a subsequent login attempt a rather immediate "Error 301 (3:1:1229:90098)" (or at least this what it's currently doing to me!), then the same thing again if you keep trying, "Login timeout" after sixty seconds of spinnin', "Error 301 (3:1:1229:90098)" when you immediately try again, then "Login timeout" after sixty seconds of spinnin', and on it goes.

If it's that you try to log in and never reach the Character selection screen, but never receive an error code of any kind, put in a support ticket at https://help.elderscrollsonline.com (actually you should probably put one in no matter what specific problem it is) and check out these threads to see what may be done about it, if anything.

For the rest of us, as Seroczynski and Iorail say it seems this problem has been around for a while and the only surefire fix seems to be when the servers (probably the login server) reboot during maintenance.

I blame the mer.

I mentioned this on another thread somewhere, but what has worked for me, and a few others is to c&p your password and just repeatedly log in quickly... if the login is taking longer then 15 seconds, quit out and go again or as soon as it says login failed or 301 error hit alt and paste that pw in again and try logging in. The last time this happened to me, it took me about 40 attempts of spamming the login to get in and that was after 4 hrs of not being able to login and getting annoyed with ZOS support. Give it a try, at best, you get logged in, at worst you are stuck right where you are until monday.

Well, @Venithar, now you've got two, it just worked for me in maybe 15-20 attempts. I actually read your post elsewhere but hadn't given it a try, thank you much for posting it again! You are truly the finest of folk! I think perhaps you should create a new "Cure for the 301 Blues" thread with your solution.

Thanks again, and I urge all and sundry afflicted with "Error 301 (3:1:1229:90098)" to give it a try.

I would, but I figure people can use the search feature or if it works for enough people, maybe ZOS can figure out why it works and fix the actual issue itself

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ I've been told by numerous people this has actually worked for them, perhaps have your tier 1 support give this as a possible fix? I know it's not a good way to go about it, but I mean way back when, compaq used to tell people to drop their computers to fix a hard drive error. Meaning anything that may work is better then making them wait hours or days for something else that may work.
