Stuck on loading screen after login
After taking 20 damn hours to download the patch I figured I'd actually be able to play the damn game. Oh, was I wrong. I'm able to get to the login screen and login successfully, but at that point I get stuck in the purgatory of eternal load screen nonsense. So I have two questions:
Is this happening to anyone else?
Any suggestions for fixing it myself?

Getting this myself, I've been in contact with a representative, they had a few idea's but nothing solving my own issue. If you like I will post their suggestions, maybe they'll work for you?

There are ALOT of people with this issue right now. Zenimax is aware and working on getting a hotfix in today.

CosmicChaos✭✭✭If you submit a ticket in-game they will move your character and it should fix it. But make sure to ask that they move you out of the region you encountered the issue to be safe. I recommend staying out of that region until a fix is implemented. I did it on an alt and gave my character name that was having issues. The first few times I emailed they ignored it. But this guy Pedro hooked me up after I sent a second ticket in-game the next day. Good luck.1

I literally get past the login screen and get stuck at the load screen between login and character select. been on the same load screen for a little over 2 hours now. I know it's not going to work, I'm just keeping it up to give perspective on how insanely ridiculous this is.0 -

Sorry I misunderstood. I thought it was letting you login to your toon before the infinite loading screen. Hope they sort it out for you soon. I hated losing over a day mainly because of my horse and research queues. I am having the same problem - getting responses to my ticket is very slow.
Seems to be happening to a lot of people. I commented about it on a different discussion, and after a while "We have contacted our Customer support team to help you solve your issue" was added to my comment, so hopefully they're doing something to fix this. I'd really like to be able to play tomorrow (fingers crossed).0 -
To add some hilarious irony to this situation, I just got an email from ESO "Play Craglorn Now!"
I totally would if the game wasn't falling apart at the seams!

As for the hotfix...
The hotfix has 'already' been pushed through and people are still having this problem. Face it... they don't have a clue !

quietscribe✭✭✭I randomly got this today. It first started when I went into a mini dungeon and the loading screen never finished. I closed the game and reloaded it, only to get stuck after the login page.
I closed that and did a repair via the launcher, and everything worked fine after that. Figured I would post in case this fix might work for other people.quietscribe.wordpress.com1 -
