actually each zone (outside the 1st) will have two types, one is level appropriate, one is one level above. so basically, you should be able to find both Dwarven and Orichalcum in shadowfen and eastmarch.Thunderchief wrote: »No the zone nodes really are out of synq. In Shadowfen you can find lots of Dwarven Ore but no one in that zone would be anywhere near needing the stuff then you move on to Eastmarch and you find HEAPS of Orichalcum when you should be finding Dwarven Ore.
Then you move on to the Rift and there is plenty of Dwarven Ore and some Ebony is also appears which is fairly balanced to the relevant player levels in the zone.
Provisioning materials in The Rift and later in Coldharbor are also screwed up as you start finding many VR5 ingredients which you probably will not need until weeks of play later.
now I am confused myself.
so stonefall, iron
desshan, steal iron, orichalcum
shadowfen, orichalcum, dwarven
eastmarch, dwarven, ebony
rift, ebony, dwarven
coldharbour, ebony, Calcinium

doesn't change the fact that Cyrodill, in and of itself, is around level 50.
