Another maintance, bolt escape still cost 100%, what do you mean when you said you gonna "fix" it?

    I think you're right but I think part of the problem is the way people play their nightblades. If you think about it most people went in to Nightblade to dw or use bow, stamina based physical damage builds while most people went into sorc to do magicka based spell damage builds (obviously there are exceptions to both of those generalisations).

    Since Magicka based Spell Damage builds are >>> Stamina based Physical Damage builds those nightblades are severely underperforming versus sorcs. However Nightblades that play as casters (Nightstaffs lol) do fine, equalling and in some cases exceeding Sorc's damage.

    When ZoS balance stamina vs magicka and physical weapons vs spells that will fix a lot of the problem for physical/stamina based Nightblades (as well as physical/stamina based builds of any class).

    im just curious how its fair that a sorc can just BE all over the field in any direction they choose thus letting them freely kite just about any thing have some of the highest DPS in the game and with a single spell can put their amour at or above a player in full heavy??? SO basically what I get is your all pissed because they made it so you cant just BE all over the place any more and be a glass cannon you actually have to play and think about what you did, what your doing, and what your going to do, hmm what a thought there thinking..

    I mean seriously what fun is it come up against some thing BE 3-4 times away from them spam crystal shards oh wait they got close to me BE again 3-4 more times and spam some more crystal shards because that's all I was seeing from sorc

    Wasn't there a recent post regarding this and them looking into some changes? I think they are starting with the armor that provide stamina bonuses.

    first, care to show us a video that indicate this "highest DPS" sorc?

    a lot of people saying it, but I have trouble finding one.

    second, nerf is a method, it needs to be used within limit to reach the effects desired.

    implemented nerf, as is right now, makes 2 cast of BE extremely difficult, if not outright impossible in combat. since 2 case of BE is REQUIRED to get out of a melee's gap closer, it makes BE useless as ESCAPE in combat.

    why don't you describe one or two detailed combat experience you have with a BE sorc, and lets discuss from there.

    Yeah, I think ZoS recognises from both player feedback and internal metrics that there is an imbalance there and I think it's something they are definitely working on but it's not an easy fix. Just saying "all stamina abilities do 20% more damage" isn't the answer. They need to look at not just the abilities themselves but the armour passives, the fact that as a stamina user your offensive resource pool is used for blocking/bashing/dodging/ccbreaking, stamina vs magicka itemisation - look how easy it is to get spell crit on setbonuses compared to weapon crit - look at magicka restore options like spell symmetry, dark exchange, magicka flood (warlock set), magicka furnace etc. compared to stamina restore options...

    There are a *ton* of factors contributing to the inequity and making the right, incremental changes to all the areas is the right way to fix it - unfortunately that takes a while to do.

    My main is a dk, and always will be. Ever since beta I have thought our gap closer's distance was over powered.to me it dosnt make sence to slide that far on the ground. Not very realistic imo. I wouldnt mind if the devs nerfed it to the same distance as bolt escape. Then gap closer and gap extenders would be even and fair.

    They would be the same distance. Not even or fair. The best you could say is they would travel the same distance.
