TESO's "end game" Starts at level 1. To think any differently well prepare to be HIGHLY disappointed, WHICH everybody is so GOOD JOB.
1-50 + VR content is by far more content than any other MMO I have ever played.
People complain the quests are stupid and boring and repetitive well WHAT MMO ISNT. The only real option missing from leveling is grinding dungeons. Well that's good to me cause 1-50 you want to really EXPERIENCE the dungeon and story attached. There is PLENTY of time to grind these dungeons in Veteran Rank.
I play this game a LOT 4 hours minimum every day and I have been here since early start......Im ONLY level 42 and on AD side haven't even made it to reapers march yet. IF your at max level you were either playing a HELL OF A LOT MORE or didn't truly experience the game for what it is.
If you grinded to the end of the game for PVP then by all means enjoy the pvp. If you get bored theres plenty of story available in the game.

If someone is V12 their opinion should be worth twice as much as a level 40, in fact they probably did play twice as much as you and know twice as much about it. You will see what happens when you put your big boy pants on and enter a Vet zone.

That is sad if it is true. There have been and still are so many MMOs that are better in every way you can think than this game. I am crying for you right now. :'(

It is one of the better "MMO's" that I have played I agree, but sadly once The Division comes out everything will be irrelevant.

IMO So many other MMOs blow this away-Shadowbane, SWG, WoW, Eve, Rift, UO, DaOC, even Warhammer with all of its problems was a blast to play in RvR.
This game has great music, beautiful scenery and that is about it.

Yea I played all those except UP, DaOC and this game blows all those away.
So its an agree to disagree. If you don't like the game you can unsub. Its an amazing game to me so that's all that matter. Once they get rid of most the bugs and more work on the balancing it be far far better.

I don't agree to disagree. I do have better taste than you though and more sense. Why, WHY would anyone continue to pay for the half finished game?

ALL MMO's are "half finished games" as there is always something more to be done to the game. All MMO's release with bugs and issues. All MMO's have to constantly balance and tweak character builds. Its a never ending process.

Division seems very promising, but you can not compare it to any any fantasy RPG. I am looking forward to Division as well. Hell it's UBISOFT, they let me down only once with rainbow six which they destroyed. But with siege they may remedy that:-)
There isn't any end game in ESO, and it not supposed to be, since the main CORE idea with ESO is a living evolving Tamriel, that changes over time.
There will be the current hardest encounters, most rare items, be a master in a crafter profession (Can do everything), completing big long story lines, like the main one, "win" PvP campaigns, Master explorer who can tell tales about every inch of Tamriel. More things to master is already in the works.
And peoples own personal goals.
ESO main long term plan is open for all to see. When the "end game" is beaten, Tamriel evolves to future challenges.
One could argue that when you built your character to the max of YOUR vision and when your char is "done" and cant evolve anymore. That is an end game.
This will change with new features to keep develop your char.
Its easier to say what the end game in ESO is not:
Max level, to many skill points you don't use because "you have them all" and calculating the "best build" for today.
Since ESO is a character skilled based game, where we KNOW that more features, events, skills and spells will be introduced, you get a new goals.
By now most players must be aware of balancing and Zenimax have choosen not to do the mistake and buff everything to hell....(brave by the right way)
And any skill at any point is subject to minor changes. To calculate numbers simply is a waste of time, since maybe next week, they don't add up.
End RAID content in ESO is not equal to other MMOs raids. I agree on that.
BUT ESOs MMO type is NOT only to beat the raid instances, get the best gear. (Its a part of it)
Look what they are focusing on. High end content. Give em some time.
The end goal must be to have fun, do things you are not used to in other MMOs?
Be part of the Tamriel world. Make you famous by claiming the champion of different areas? Who gonna own the Kiosk? The coming new city? I bet a whole new game will be able to fit in there.
The justice system. We don't know how it works, but if I can get hired as a guards, I would love to chase thieves and killers to throw em in jail!
The adding of quests, that continue to challenge, bring "life" to Tamriel and I hope comes in different difficulties, and more of the kind where you need to choose a path, and cant change your mind.
*Flame suit on*
You are not helping your Pro TESO cause.

I agree on everything but the part in (parentesis).
How on Earth can you quit becase of a new game mode that you don' t have to play? Please dont give me the "everyone will leave cyrodiil and wait in a que!". Noone knows that, its for Zenimax to decide to implement or not.
Tannakaobi wrote: »When it comes to gear I have to agree. Why have only crafted gear as the best gear? I ask the same question in reverse in other mmo's.
So here's the thing, some people like to craft, some people like to PVP and some people like to raid...
So why not have the 'top' gear a reward for each thing? That way people can do what they want to do and still work towards getting the gear they want...
the way EVERY mmo game ***** it up you would think it is rocket science.
Keep repeating it to yourself like some cult given mantra. I would try and warn you against drinking the kool aid but it appears that I am too late.

I disagree. Vet12 are fast clickers. They have no idea what the story was about. They only cared about leveling. Or they were PvPers who MUST level up to top level to enjoy PvP. If you are not top and geared yoy are cannon food.
But PvPers has again no idea about PvE content.

Nothing personal, but I get really tired of hearing this. If you play games for the story, that's fine, but stop busting other people's humps because they like doing things that being top level usually gets you.

Can't argue with that.
Also you have to ask yourself, If people are only playing for the story. Why the *** play an mmo? They are miles behind other game types in terms of quality and story.
I guess in eso it's because it's a TES game, but you get people saying the same things in other mmo's.
