Any means of leveling faster than story questing as is intended should be immediately removed. You're just fortunate it takes Zenimax a minimum of a month to fix anything.
End the tedious inventory management game.

I can level in PVP (slowly), theres no story In PVP, therefore Zenimax should remove PVP.

Congradulations.. You killed the only good part of the game.

They are nerfing the ones that allows random zergs just spamming anything but keeping the ones that require a group to be formed and some skill.

So any instance that you need a group of four, you can still group up and farm the bosses there for 37k each, but the zerg farming, they are nerfing but not into the ground, just to try to make it not the fastest option.

The daily quests give lots of exp but they need skill.

Trollface daily quest take skills? What about pvp scouting quest does that take any skill? all you need is to pick up the quest jump into a realm your faction control 100% go to your fort turn in and redo endlessly to gain lvl up and pvp point.

Ill tell you one thing they need to make veteran more rewarding then that awfull kick in the back theyve so far gave it.

It seems that every time there is a VR grinding spot you guys nerf it. Why? Can it please be my option to level up quickly so I can do PVP? A lot of people would say just go level up in PVP. Well, it takes decades. Just because they doubled the XP inside PVP, doesn't mean i'm gonna be able to level up quickly. Theres a bunch of VR12s now that have done nothing but grinding to get there. Why should I have to go do a bunch of boring un entertaining quests so I can PVP? I bought the game for PVP, and intended to play PVP. Now days I cant play PVP without getting four shotted by a Dragon Knight VR 12. The balancing in PVP is a whole different topic for another time..

But like to be able to feel like more than canon fodder as a Nightblade in PVP. To be completely honest, if you think I will sub longer because it will take me longer to get VR12 if you nerf the grinding, I wont, because I am getting incredibly bored quest grinding. I just plain and simple don't want to do it anymore. The stories are more or less the same, the quests are more or less the same, it just feels like the same thing but it tales for ever.

personally ill probably just quit when my sub runs out unless thay start listening to what ppl say who are actually a factor.. id suggest u do the same. this game isnt worth it. the devs made it more than clear that they only care for the casuals, roleplayers and baddies. kinda like what every other company has done in the last 10 years and they will also suffer the same fate as those companys. maybe ill drop in here and smile @ ZOS in 2-3 months when ESO is f2p struggling to somehow make enough money from a P2W item shop to justify the 200 million development costs xD

you shoulda listened to the right ppl from the start ZOS.

hint: the right ppl are NOT those who spend 3 hours a week playing ur game. those are nonfactors and their opinions carry no value at all. maybe u will learn that someday.

If you wanted to PvP, you'd PvP. So the problem isn't leveling up, it's being 4-shotted by VR12 players.

    Solution.

    1. each VR area grant +2 attribute points for completion
    2. each VR area grant +20 stat points to mag/stam/hp for completion
    3. each VR area grant +2 additional skill points for completion
    4. +100 to a chosen stat per 200 quests completed, not counting anything repeatable.

Above would stop people from going all out or at least only go all out for then returning to the actual level up content zones to be competetative.

The problem is not the vr12 players out there, it is the vr5s and the likes that do not want to play the game, also a quick grind to max level would maybe let us say hypothetically if spelt correct be having only 50 skill points from leveling up + some from here and there.. so let us say 75~85 overall....you need 150 to be competetative...

why do you ppl wanna kill the game even faster lol. no sane human beeing will do the quest grind even once. how will anyone ever make an alt? what u think is gonna happen in a year when vr20 is the cap? whats gonna happen in 2 years? 3 years? 5 years? (assuming the game is still running then which is, given the recent idiotic decisions they made, extremely doubtful but still.)

seriously can u ppl just stop beeing so narrow minded and for once use your god damn brain. leave the quests in for the roleplayers but give normal people who dont enjoy that crap a possibility to lvl quickly so we can actually play the game for what we bought it for.

its really frikkin simple. no serious PvPer wants to do that pve crap. the only ones that wanna do it are the ppl who love pve/roleplaying and have that as their focus anyway. thats cool, they can do mindless quest grind till vr9000 for all i care but for the love of mfkin god let us PvP folks fast skip that trash and let us get to the content we bought the game and pay our god damn sub for.

I both PvE and PvP, why should some people have 'a free pass' over the other? Personally I think people are a bit to spoiled regardless of whichever there should be some consequenses playing any game.... if the meaning is to rush directly to max level... then why not simply play a normal FPS game, Quake, Battlefield, counterstrike and others that is the true form PvP afterall.... and no sub needed either than just paying once for the game..

Solution as they implent into the game now is sub vr, pvp zone and vr. pvp zones only, so people would not be face rolled as a level 10 running into a bunch of vr10+

An effort should be required regardless of what people think, but that is just my opinion... would like to see the effort doing it all given some bonusses to it as well.. in my eyes that would seem appropiate.

what stops you from grinding to max level for pvp and still do the quests for gold/skill points/titles/whatever if u enjoy both. not everyone enjoys pve so dont be so selfish.

fps and mmo are 2 completely different things so that comparison carries zero weight.

your "solution" is total crap and doesnt solve anything at all. infact it produces even more problems. huge boring quest grind to max level + pre VR campaign = no1 will bother with endgame pvp -> game = dead. this is a total nobrainer btw.

so for the love of god can ppl finally stop using that crap as if it was a viable argument. it isnt and u know that aswell. u just chose to ignore it cos u dont wanna put any effort in and just derp around in the lowbie crap tier campaign. maybe its you who should be playing quake afterall?

So... you don't want to 'grind' quests because it's 'boring grinding', but you're wanting Zeni to stop tinkering with 'grinding spots'?

If it were only that easy - for every player to complain about the part of the game they don't like, so that they could get improvements to the part of the game they -do- like....

1-50 is a cake-walk. SOME part of the game should be challenging and make you feel like you earned something.
  • Gix

All they have to do is redesign the way the level-scaling mechanic works in PvP so that people who only care about that can stop complaining about the leveling process.

A level 10 that can output as much as a level 50R12 would even things out.

MMO PvP = Easy mode Social PvP ( You just have to be close enough on the player to him him/her) and you can take multiple hits.. strategy involved, but way more lose in MMOs

FPS PvP = More hardcore and competetative PvP ( you have to actually aim ) you can be oneshot with a possible headshot, differs a bit from the different fps out there.

Scenario for MMO and FPS = Kill the opponent, archieve this or that objective in short.

    Not a big difference

I totally agree with and respect that as well since a real grind is pretty damn hardcore, but the reference to grinding spots in this game comes up with where you get unnatural alot of XP (and loot amounts 'blue/epic') meaning let us say one vr level per hour or two.... that is way to fast and certainly not working as intended... zenimax should have rolled back, but zenimax forgave them and instead and fixed the unintended problem.... but they did pick the diplomatic way and let people keep what they have gotten.

Personally what bother me is that people want bugs and stuff fixed... class balances.. quest bugs and the likes that hinder progress or quality of gameplay and then they get pissy when they actually fix an open exploit like kardala and the anamoly grind.

    2) first of all none of these grind spots are an exploit. seriously you ppl dont even know what an exploit even is so stop throwing that phrase around as if u even knew what you´re talking about.

using a bug to get inside geometry to kill mobs/players from an unreachable spot for example..THAT is an exploit. repeatably doing the same content over and over in the intended way is NOT an exploit. never was and never will be so stop calling it like that.

So what you are saying that the anamoly was perfectly normal... and running kardala... is eh ok? there is a difference between a grind and exploiting an unintended grinding feature like mentioned kardala and anamolies... granting more xp than intended, it is in general what people is crying about not being able to head to vr12 record fast.

A person actually mentioned that right above and I respect and agree what he/she said, but running the anamolies as they have been ran and kardala is not the way, it is what I have been opposing for the most part... I friggen respect a real grind as it is hardcore, but not mentioned as above with exploiting kardala/anamolies that is being weak...

On note TESO is close to a MMOFPS or share certain traits as you actually sort of have to aim for a target (FPSish) + you can actually lock a target down (RPGish) like it or not.

and thats where you are totally wrong. i forgive you tho. like so many here u just have no idea what ur talking about. those casual players are the first ones to leave the moment a new game with prettier gfx comes up. the hardcore ppl are the ones that stay for years IF devs dont ruin the game by listening to casual ppl with 0 clue. thats how reality looks like.

PS: if they ONLY listened to me the game would be the bomb now.

Forgiving asides, there are way more casuals and semi-casuals than there are <insert whatever it is you are here>.

Hardcore players sometimes unsub and go away until the next pretty raid gets added once max level is reached…

I mean what the heck are people that are VR12 now going to do every day every week every month from here on… they are not going to give them new stuff to do PVE wise on a weekly basis, so you have PvP I guess.

Not saying either side's opinion is more important that the other… I'm saying they both are when it comes to the almighty dollar for ZOS. You couldn't make a game of this scope and expensive for just HARDCORE people as there are too many games out there and the market is spread thin. You need the income from the rest of the gaming population to stay profitable.

    PS: Maybe…

I do NOT understand why SO MANY PEOPLE HATE the idea of leveling in GROUP CONTENT. Geeze... wasnt solo 1-50 and VR1-10 enough? Why dont we just take it offline and make it a single player game. That seems to be what everyone wants. Have fun with that...

The only problem with this game is, that it is kind of like a schizofrenic child that doesn't know which road to take. The TES players are not hardcore mmo people, and the hardcore mmo people don't like TES content .... I know this is a huge generalization, but it is true to the majority of the players.

I would personally prefer a singleplayer version of this game, but I settle with what I can get of Tamriel. I have a lot of sympathy for those players, who doesn't wanna spend 1-2 months doing PvE content to gain extra skillpoints and leveling by repetitive questing ..even for me that can get very boring, and I'm VR5 in Glenumbra now, and have never been in Cyrodiil.

I would rather see that Craglorn be level entry of 10-12 Veterans ...leave the experience for encounters the same.

And yes, I have been lvling in the regular Vet Zones and doing some quests in Craglorn.
