The game made us hate it, we wanted to love it but they took our beloved ES and promised us so much and in the end delivered a big old pile of crud.
We havent ruined the game by negative postings on the forum. The game incited us to such vitriol by being so effing lame

That's so sad.

Do you mind telling us how old are you?
the online in tesco is as bad as in physical view, even have family that stocks their eletronics section and saying the games rarely sell unless it's a shooter or fifadarkstar2084 wrote: »Tesco in the UK sell it for £30, all i see is anecdotal claims

good word, i wonder if ZoS understand that word and make game F2P to attract more people outside a tiny niche group.
beg to differ, WoW, TBC and lich king were massive successes and rarely dropped in price, the time they started going down in price was when their flop of an expansion "caraclysm" hit, the costs started to drop due to both the fact it was reduced in cost to get older ones online via blizzard AND the fact the sales were going downfromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Totally to be expected, MMO's shelf life at launch price is never very long after the initial rush.that actually made me feel really sad considering it comes with 60days of play time and it's only 2 months old
hope Zen step it up and improve ESO soon otherwise i can see it going the way of many games
non-wow example would be Starcraft (not a MMO but it's still got a high cost for high success) , super smash bro's for the wii, i think GTA 5 is still going strong on price. usually prices dont drop so fast unless it's got a bad rating and saddly theres alot of negative press about ESO, they need to step it up and fix some serious flaws before it drags beyond the point of no return or worse... F2P... i want eso to stay sub only dammitFairydragon3 wrote: »beg to differ, WoW, TBC and lich king were massive successes and rarely dropped in price, the time they started going down in price was when their flop of an expansion "caraclysm" hit, the costs started to drop due to both the fact it was reduced in cost to get older ones online via blizzard AND the fact the sales were going downfromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Totally to be expected, MMO's shelf life at launch price is never very long after the initial rush.that actually made me feel really sad considering it comes with 60days of play time and it's only 2 months old

It is a bit unfair to compare it to wow which sets the trend, this game doesn't even have any expansions. Like you said, Wow was a Massive success, and still is to some degree

Why should they? If they targeted a niche they know already the kind of numbers they can pull. Turning this into some lame standard MMO would be suicide for the whole franchise

But if they decided to target a niche market, they are prepared for that. Otherwise they would have created a wowclone like WS, right?
Luckily they didn't

Well if you think it's not worthy probably it's better if you take a break instead of this crypto flaming
A nice holiday
GAME and Powergame (might be merged now) are the only 2 main gaming shops in most of the UK and it's rare for them to put newer games or best sellers on low costs like that unless they are flopping, take Aliens:colonial (cant spell) marines as an example, the game was horrific and didnt live up to the hype, took them a long while to fix it, by 1motnh it went from £35 pre-order to £5 deal value or £10 normal value.Fairydragon3 wrote: »nerevarine1138 wrote: »A local game store ran a sale?!
Everyone start selling your ZO stock now!
doesn't the transfer rate also change. Its always a constant price in America, but everywhere else they have to pay the price in their currency, so that can change based off of exchange rates.
Just because a store is trying to push it's product with a sale doesn't mean that it's failing. It just means people are not buying from that store. Walmart still has perorders because well no one ever checks the walmart here.
true it's a FPS but value instore doesnt change by genre but by success of sales
ROFL
Look you wanna say the game is dying just go on if that makes you feel better but these charades are beyond pathetic:
GAME UK TESO PRICES
Quit already please

Wow, Tesco, twitch tv...so who is gonna be the one to pull out from the sewers vgchartz? 1/10 , you avoid 0/10 just because you aren't the first one to try this
btw Wildstar is already on sale for about 25-30% less almost everywhere, it's clearly dying lol

We seriously need to stop saying this ***. There is no "type of people" this game was made for, unless you're talking about the "type of people" that have disposable income. I've said it once, will say it again:coryevans_3b14_ESO wrote: »The type of people that this game was made for, the niche group that the devs were aiming for and talked about, aren't the type that watch twitch or record.
