Tesco sell it for £9.99 now
Yup, I had to laugh when I saw it. Next to it was Rift, still with a price of £19.95 and that's F2P now as well.
I long since knew I was ripped off when I bought the Imperial Edition (£39.95), not worth the price to play as an Imperial (the race is broken and bugged still).

Everyone start selling your ZO stock now!

GAME and Powergame (might be merged now) are the only 2 main gaming shops in most of the UK and it's rare for them to put newer games or best sellers on low costs like that unless they are flopping, take Aliens:colonial (cant spell) marines as an example, the game was horrific and didnt live up to the hype, took them a long while to fix it, by 1motnh it went from £35 pre-order to £5 deal value or £10 normal value.Fairydragon3 wrote: »nerevarine1138 wrote: »A local game store ran a sale?!

doesn't the transfer rate also change. Its always a constant price in America, but everywhere else they have to pay the price in their currency, so that can change based off of exchange rates.
Just because a store is trying to push it's product with a sale doesn't mean that it's failing. It just means people are not buying from that store. Walmart still has perorders because well no one ever checks the walmart here.
Totally to be expected, MMO's shelf life at launch price is never very long after the initial rush.that actually made me feel really sad considering it comes with 60days of play time and it's only 2 months old
hope Zen step it up and improve ESO soon otherwise i can see it going the way of many games
Are there sad people that watch others playing a game instead of playing it themselves? And on Twitch, it's sitting comfortably at 51 viewers, right between MapleStory and NBA2K14. But I'm sure the fanbois are right, we have no hard facts and the game is doing fine. Nothing to worry about.
beg to differ, WoW, TBC and lich king were massive successes and rarely dropped in price, the time they started going down in price was when their flop of an expansion "caraclysm" hit, the costs started to drop due to both the fact it was reduced in cost to get older ones online via blizzard AND the fact the sales were going downfromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Totally to be expected, MMO's shelf life at launch price is never very long after the initial rush.that actually made me feel really sad considering it comes with 60days of play time and it's only 2 months old

Wow, Tesco, twitch tv...so who is gonna be the one to pull out from the sewers vgchartz? 1/10 , you avoid 0/10 just because you aren't the first one to try this
btw Wildstar is already on sale for about 25-30% less almost everywhere, it's clearly dying lol

true it's a FPS but value instore doesnt change by genre but by success of sales
does watching someone play shooters that have a story like halo count as sad due to me lacking very good hand co-ordination?fromtesonlineb16_ESO wrote: »Are there sad people that watch others playing a game instead of playing it themselves? And on Twitch, it's sitting comfortably at 51 viewers, right between MapleStory and NBA2K14. I swear to goodness that this is one of the worst game communities that I have ever seen. Every other post is willing the game to fail.

You should have a look at Wildstar forums and then we can speak eh eh
But yeah I agree, this game was made for an adult and highly educated public unfortunately the wowkiddies didn't get the message...
Though the hate for this game has started months before it came out, it's one of the mysteries of human psyche
ouch, collectors edition?I paid £50 two months ago... That really ****ing annoys me.
The silver-lining is watching this turkey die.

I've avidly avoided Wildstar forums, but now you've got me curious ...
And I agree. The hate for this game started the moment it was announced. It's not Skyrim Online, so people are throwing tantrums that it isn't exactly what they wanted.

The in game community is night and day compared to the forum "community", at least in my experience. I'm in 2 awesome guilds (both drop the hammer on immature behavior, if there ever is any) with the average age above 25. Also, zone chat has gotten sooo much better. Rarely do I see rude trolling. (there is such a thing as fun trolling imo that isn't rude, just funny). However, a trade channel would be nice.
