that actually made me feel really sad considering it comes with 60days of play time and it's only 2 months old

hope Zen step it up and improve ESO soon otherwise i can see it going the way of many games

Yup, I had to laugh when I saw it. Next to it was Rift, still with a price of £19.95 and that's F2P now as well.

I long since knew I was ripped off when I bought the Imperial Edition (£39.95), not worth the price to play as an Imperial (the race is broken and bugged still).

well they'v gotten my last £8.99, if within a month from saturday things dont start turning around at all, i'ma quit for a while, to many games out there that dissapoint (did someone say steam greenlite early access?)

And on Twitch, it's sitting comfortably at 51 viewers, right between MapleStory and NBA2K14. But I'm sure the fanbois are right, we have no hard facts and the game is doing fine. Nothing to worry about.

The type of people that this game was made for, the niche group that the devs were aiming for and talked about, aren't the type that watch twitch or record. I am one of them. I have never watched it nor would I. Using twitch as a source to say the game is dying is rediculous. Other sources maybe, but that one doesn't fit.

Just because a store is trying to push it's product with a sale doesn't mean that it's failing. It just means people are not buying from that store. Walmart still has perorders because well no one ever checks the walmart here.

I didn't even know what Twitch was prior to this, and now that I know, I still don't want to watch it. There is nothing in this world more annoying to me than watching someone else play a game while I hear their monotone voice narrate what's happening in the world. It's like watching the South Park WoW episode with none of the comedy.

GAME and Powergame (might be merged now) are the only 2 main gaming shops in most of the UK and it's rare for them to put newer games or best sellers on low costs like that unless they are flopping, take Aliens:colonial (cant spell) marines as an example, the game was horrific and didnt live up to the hype, took them a long while to fix it, by 1motnh it went from £35 pre-order to £5 deal value or £10 normal value.
true it's a FPS but value instore doesnt change by genre but by success of sales

Totally to be expected, MMO's shelf life at launch price is never very long after the initial rush.

beg to differ, WoW, TBC and lich king were massive successes and rarely dropped in price, the time they started going down in price was when their flop of an expansion "caraclysm" hit, the costs started to drop due to both the fact it was reduced in cost to get older ones online via blizzard AND the fact the sales were going down

otherwise i agree, i never watch someone PLAY the game just for the sake of they are playing it, only closest thing i'v watched is either reviews or someone needing help of why their play style is not helping them succeed

i was actually physically in the shop collecting my free £100 shares prize and spotted it. the site isn't a clear indicator as even old OLD stock is still high price.

personally i wouldnt say it's failed but i know it'll head there if they dont fix a ton of crap faster

haven't mentioned anything about free to play. try reading sometime, very helpful, cant play morrowind without it.

The in game community is night and day compared to the forum "community", at least in my experience. I'm in 2 awesome guilds (both drop the hammer on immature behavior, if there ever is any) with the average age above 25. Also, zone chat has gotten sooo much better. Rarely do I see rude trolling. (there is such a thing as fun trolling imo that isn't rude, just funny). However, a trade channel would be nice.

I agree, in game you rarely see whiners or trols and they are usually booed away quickly

The game made us hate it, we wanted to love it but they took our beloved ES and promised us so much and in the end delivered a big old pile of crud.

We havent ruined the game by negative postings on the forum. The game incited us to such vitriol by being so effing lame
