A good experience w/ CS

Whelp, it finally happened. After two month of worry free game I finally hit a game stopping bug. I was logging in between the alts doing inventory management and my current main, caster type nightblade, was invisible when I logged in. I was at the bank in elden root at the time. I couldnt click on the npc, couldnt move, couldnt open any menu, I tried porting to elden root wayshrine (91gold) and now I was stuck at the wayshrine. Okay, I've heard of others with problems like falling through the landscape and used /stuck. So I /stuck and get the warning (ack! 541gold since I just used the wayshrine!) that.....sucks and I balk at the cost. I login to an alt, all is fine, back into main same problem. I /stuck (401gold) and....back to the wayshrine...still stuck. Wife is calling saying dinner is ready. ....One second!!! I /bug and /help and explain the situation. I go do my husbandly duties of dinner and a show....rizzoli and isles which gets me some points I can spend in playing more game after dinner. Come back after dinner. My character is standing on the boat that delivers you to Vurken Guard (sp?) all happy as a clam and working jsut fine. So the cs rep found me, moved me and I was ready to go after dinner. All within about an hour of putting in the ticket. Couldve done it in 5 min or at the 59min mark, no idea but still, its nice service.

    or only the bad experiences are posted about and its not really as bad as everyone says. sure SOME experiences are bad, I wont deny, but some are good as well, who knows is they are generally bad or generally good since we dont know how many tickets are handled well and how many badly.

    nope, wifey failure. she's a great cook but you cant be great everytime when you like to experiment. glad she doesnt play this game or visit this forum :smiley:

    I've always had good response/luck with CS. I had an issue with a bugged character on the non stop loading screen when I accessed that character and within 30 minutes of my ticket, they had me moved. I've had an ongoing issue since 4/1 and they stay in touch and we try new things with the updates to see if it has fixed the issue. We've even started joking about what kind of offerings we are giving to the eight with each patch to see if the issue is fixed. My last offering was frozen chicken legs and I sent fresh baked rodent muffins to CS and Tech Support for fixing another bug I had. We gotta laugh to keep from crying sometimes on these bugs. :)

    Im with OP, im not very fond of the suits of ZOS who are probably rushing stuff but Customer Support has been lovely, answering relatively fast, I've almost never gotten the actual help i was hoping to get but thats not their fault.
    Same thing with Jessica, Michelle and Gina (think i forgot someone) who are reading the forums (and my rants about this game) who answering what they can without creating a forum rage.

    I didn't remember ANY of my successful contacts with CS
    1. Error 301 - stupid advices, what didn't helped, sure. Someone at this forum has fount solution and it was helped to me. 1 wasted sub-day, no excuses, no gametime returned. 140528-024515
    2. Eternal loading screen at one of my characters - stupid advices even after I said to them: "hey, don't give me advices, just port my character to the nearest wayshrine!". Thank God there was a maintenance at the next day and it was solved. 1 wasted sub-day, no excuses, no gametime returned. 140529-016478
    3. Quest-giver in the Vaults of Madness didn't want to speak with me. All they can advice to me: "try to complete another quests". Damn it, Coldharbour is done for me far ago! All quests, bosses, dungeons etc.! 140609-001735
    4. No Razak Opus pet. This is well-know bug for all veterans. Someone said they can send this pet via mail. Guess what? Right - nothing. 140609-001741
    5. ESC button error - again, found help at forum, support was useless. 140523-003105
    6. Public dungeon bosses who achieve only for last hit. Did you know what they advice to me? /reloadui and the same stuff. Lol. 140521-011976

    So I dunno what talking when say "some bad experience" - for me this is EVERY attempt to connect with em is bad!

    Zenimax support is very lame and pointless.

    • EU players are humans too! We want our maintenances in the least pop time (at deep night) and not lasted for several hours!

    Any time I have had a problem response has been speedy and the eventual resolution of my issue within a few hours (short of Cyrodiil group bug) I've been very impressed compared to other games honestly.

    Problems like this is easy for them and they always fix this simple stuff fast. So nothing new there. Its the problems thats been going on for weeks and months they wont help with at all and give people the same stupid advices and saying they are aware of the issue and working on a fix. So come back when you get 301 error or sub payment problems :)
