It seems like people are trying to play ESO like any other game and not like and elder scrolls game.

People are rushing up to 50+ getting annoyed when you cant skip the dialogue. I have recently started playing the game like an elderscrolls game, running all quests, reading every line of every dialogue and I have to tell you, the quests are amazing, story lines are great and a lot of the choices are hard to make.
I am an MMO vet with over 6 years spent on my previous MMO (DDO) and so far this is the first one I have actually been interested in the lore.
I dont know if Im right but some people seen to be having more and more fun with it now.
Thoughts?

With things like not being able to tell players and NPCs apart. And having no real player commerce. It's also why I unsubbed I can play Skyrim and not need to pay every month.

There are far too many who complain they haven't got the freedom they had in Skyrim/Morrowin/Oblivion, or complain about having to choose a class. You have to view this as an MMO first and a TES game second.

I would LOVE to play this as an MMO.
- However, there is no AH
- No GUI options
- No Guild options
- No real bank system
- Crappy grouping tool
- Phasing makes grouping almost impossible.
- No end game.
- No real raid dungeons.
- No user friendly tools
- It's buggy as hell
- Vet levels suck
ESO has failed to be an MMO and failed to be a TES game.
Sadly it could have been both with the right options and with solid in game systems.

If you have to play a MMO just one way, the game is in big trouble.
When posters keep posting that "You are playing the wrong way", the game is in big trouble.
When players are constantly saying the game is tedious and the repeated quests are killing their fun, the game is in trouble. It seems like people are trying to play ESO like any other game and not like and elder scrolls game.
I would LOVE to play this like an Elder Scrolls game.
- Sadly there is no underwater swimming,
- no dueling,
- no housing,
- no crime systems,
- no open world to explore,
- no thieves/assassins guild,
- no storage space,
- no way to reverse do a quest, where you do the quest and just find your reward later on,
- no way to move objects around in the world,
- no way to swim on the ocean without being instantly killed by slaughterfish.
- No real explanations of your characters powers
- No massive dungeons to explore
So, please don't tell me to play this like a TES game. It is just not possible.

Sorry, what?
When are they adding GUI options, a real bank system, guild bank options?
People who complain about the quests being boring... I imagine those are the people that skip through the dialogue and don't pay attention to the story. Since TES is story driven, they are missing out on a lot.

Show me a video of you making the chat box fill half your screen.

Well your OP did ask for thoughts on the game there pal! So this guy/gal gave his/hers...just like you did yours. Why did you just troll in your own OP? Seriously....people....meh.
glitchmaster999 wrote: »Lol there are mods to change skill bar position
I do have nameplates on NPC's
The banking has been on their road ahead from the first one they did after launch, searching, ordering and more bank options such as player and account banks.
Cant link stuff on my POS phone but its under announcements, just read the roads ahead and other dev posts like nightblade changes and other suggestions, like the armor dying announcement.
