I have received a lot of interesting messages from my Hirelings. Whomever writes those does an awesome job, and they must have a great deal of fun doing them.

Which craft has this hireling? provisioning?

Hirelings are a lot of fun; I have been transcribing mine to a text file before deletion.

I think i have read more hirelings emails than the actual quests .

Looks like it's provisioning, which I'm told isn't worth getting the hireling for.

The message is worth more than what you actually get if it's the provisioning hireling. Here's a grape, have a nice day. Lazy ***.

Cool. I'm guessing you've spent 3 skill points to get those?

I always love hirelings, I even keep a few of the good ones saved in my mailbox. I am glad Zenni put that much thought into them. Even if they didn't, I like admiring the little things...like these less-than-bright hirelings.

Oh how they make me laugh!

    I call BS.

There's no way he had time for a number 2 in the woods without one of those damn tree ladies aggroing on him and summoning a pet...

Or maybe i'm just a slow pooper.

Yeah I had only spent 2 points for forever but just hit vr12 and was dissatisfied I could not craft more items to legendary. Spent a third skill point and bam, next time I log in 2 dreughwax.

Yes, apparently three points gives you the good stuff. I've got three points in both provisioning and blacksmith hirelings. My blacksmith hireling gives me purples and golds all the time.

Can you get more hireling mails if you don't delete the old ones? At what point does the timer start for the next mail? Is it when you read the message or when you claim the items?

I got one about a roll in the hay my miner hireling had.

    Was amusing.

And I have 3/3 in all hirelings. Prov one is a must, tomatoes and oats.

    And pepper. Lots of pepper.

Ah, right, it's just I read another thread in crafting, where smeone complained that they got three common items (they were common too), and someone else said it wasn't worth it.

But if you get rarer ingredients, then OK.

    LOL

Well, I run a dungeon and manage come come out of it alive with two green weapons and a bag of salt. My hireling gives me 2-3 gold tempers a week.

Who's the real hero here? :p
