Somehow the concept of fighting for that subscription renewal every month seems to have escaped some peoples understanding. They don't seem to understand that they are in the entertainment service business. That doesn't mean you blow in the wind to every consumer whim...but it does mean very fast removal of major obstacles to a paying customer enjoyment and encouraging them to pay you again next month.

You must be a cookie cutter build... Spells do not get a guaranteed critical strike when coming out of hidden, nor have I noticed the bonus damage, which I believe they have listed already. All physical skills auto crit from a sneak attack.
All melee physical skills get a damage bonus in addition.
I am well aware of the physical attacks getting these bonuses... My issue is that Shadowy Disguise is not applying the critical strike bonus if hidden when it is used. This affects my play style because I use staff. It is counter-intuitive to have to un-stealth while around mobs then re-stealth using Shadowy Disguise just so I can receive the bonus that this skill is intended to grant.

i think you're going to have to be clearer about what you mean, what attacks are you using that aren't getting the bonus? As far as I've seen with my own NB, every attack done from stealth is an automatic crit with a x4 dmg bonus, unless you hit from the front then it's an automatic crit with a x1.5 bonus like any other crit. So my only guess is that you are using a non melee ability from cloak, and the <hidden> bonus is overriding the basic crit then saying no this can't get the <hidden> bonus.

Teh short video for you all, guys:
You guys need to address the melee side of the issue NB's are losing their god damn minds that your not addressing the dual wield builds . frustrations is at maximum i am listening to a TS full of NB canceling subs and ranting . Im saddened to see my friends pack up shop and leave game over something that is transcending all classes builds to do with swords and daggers. at least an acknowledgement would go along way with the communityZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Incoming Fixes & Improvements
We have ongoing efforts to improve the Nightblade class, and fix some of the outstanding issues. Below is an early look at some of the incoming fixes and improvements you will see in content patch 1.2.X.Also worth noting, there were three Nightblade class abilities impacted by this general combat note from the 1.1.2 patch notes: Fixed an issue where a number of abilities were not properly able to cause critical strikes.
- Incapacitate will increase heavy attack damage.
- Incapacitating Strike will now be capable of critical strikes.
- Master Assassin will increase spell power in addition to weapon power.
- Path of Darkness damage will be increased. The ability will also be visible to all players.
- Refreshing Path will heal allies. The healing will also be slightly increased.
- Refreshing Shadows will always be active, and will no longer require you to use an ability.
The abilities impacted by this fix were:
- Impale (Assassin’s Blade morph)
- Killer's Blade (Assassin’s Blade morph)
- Sap Essence (Drain Power morph)
Outstanding Known Issues
Patch 1.1.2 fixed many outstanding Nightblade issues, but below are some that we are either actively investigating, working on fixes for now, or have recently fixed and will push in a future patch. Please note this list does not reflect every reported Nightblade issue we are currently investigating.
General: Currently, a Nightblade’s own residual outgoing damage-over-time ticks break his or her invisibility. This is not intended, and will be fixed in a future patch.
Dark Cloak (Shadow Cloak morph): Dark Cloak is not currently removing damage-over-time (DoT) debuffs as it should be. We’re currently investigating this issue to determine which DoTs are not being removed by Dark Cloak.
Haste: Haste is not currently applying the 30% attack speed increase to ranged weapons as it should be. We are working on a fix for this issue.
Mark Target: Mark Target currently allows you to see and attack targets that are sneaking, but not ones that are invisible. We are working on a fix for this issue.
Path of Darkness: The PFX for Path of Darkness and its morphs will sometimes appear under terrain. We are currently investigating this issue.
Pressure Points: This passive ability is working as intended, but there is a bug with the character sheet not correctly displaying the critical strike rating bonus. We have a fix for this, and it will go out with a future patch.
Siphoning Attacks: This ability’s tooltip will no longer says that it restores health. It never restored health, nor was it intended to. This is a tooltip bug. We have a fix for this, and it will go out with a future patch.
Sure its great for PVP and we appreciate the burst in PVP but seriously if your in end game PVE these builds are all bu uselessKewljag_66_ESO wrote: »Kewljag_66_ESO wrote: »This is unacceptable. Bravo.
Yes we need fixes but we arent useless....... I can take any class 1v1 even if they are a higher VR rank it just requires smart play and good timing on blocks and interupts, if I open with sneak attack I always win even against DKs. We are still strong if played right. this just means after the fixes we will be that much stronger. My only worry is way become FOTM
Have you ever been in a GvG or AvA? Do you even lift bro?
Well not sure what do you even lift mean.... and i'm assuming GVG means guild vs guild. in that case no. But i AVA every night and have been doing it since DAOC.
I'm out there every night on Bloodthorn. Eigther waiting to ambush people trying to get to the keep seiges or defending keeps doing hit and runs, Once enemies are inside my keeps i pick them off on the walls, its all about hit and runs. In open field i will 1v1 anyone, i will lose ocasionally to some V10 DKs or Temps but generally i win way more than i lose and granted i am only V2. you just need to know your enemy and how to counter them. Open with a Suprise Attack sneak attack and they cant really recover, save Death Stroke for when your enemy has more life than you and its 4 second knock down is a tide turner. and using armor debuffs with Flurry Does alot more damage than people think
Teh short video for you all, guys:
No one says it is impossible (even though I'd love to see that rotation in a boss immune to CC and a room full of trash mobs). The real problem is that you must always be perfect in that routine. A single mistake and you are down. Even on trash mobs, on your way home. It gets annoying. After some point, it stops being an entertainment. And you know, what we pay for, is entertainment.
And then you see the light armor/staff build breezing through the same content. People are going to quit or respec. You'll have a wonderful world, full of casters. And then, they will finally nerf casters to bring balance. And you know what? Then the casters will quit too. A very few will respec again and learn to play from scratch.

You never played light armor toon right?
Do you know the biggest pain in arse for Sorc is mobs immuned to CC? Do you know I nearly can't kill Strom Atronach if he is elite and more?
And especially if there is "room full of trash"!
Do you know what mistakes affects on us too? Even more since our armor sooooo little. Some time ago I've came to Grathwood (vr7 location for Pact) and met 2 tigers. Just damn tigers with 2,5k HP each. And I seen how one them preparing force attack but I was too late to press Block and you know - he is oneshot me! 2,2k damage per single attack if you have made mistake!
And I've seen here some posts about someone can't kill pack of 3 mobs! All seen it, didn't want to search.
Stop this crying and learn your class!

lol, your pains are my every day life in game.
lol, "nearly can't kill Strom Atronach ", I dare you to find a vet Storm Atronach with your NB and post a video about it.
Finally, I await your ragequit post when your casters are nerfed to NB standards.
