Error 301

By this point, I am quite annoyed.
I've tried everything they've suggested on the internet... nothing.
I've sent in two tickets, did what they said guess what? Nothing.

It's been a problem for a very long time. I just got it fixed a day ago, now it's broken again.

Anyone else having the same problem?
(Please ESO, FIX THIS.)

It got fixed a couple of days ago because the server was rebooted which "fixes" the lock issue. They have no idea how to fix it or what is causing it, if they did there wouldnt be a few hundred people complaining about it.

    Hello,

We are aware that some players receive the error "Login Error: Error 301" when they attempt to log into The Elder Scrolls Online. We are currently working on resolving the issue, and we hope to have a fix soon.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Do you anticipate issuing free time to compensate for not being able to play for those affected? Not to mention lost hireling, research, and horse feeding?

@ZOS_PierreL Mine and others patience in this matter will only go so far, I'm coming up on day 4 of not being able to play due to this "feature" .

As you can already see from other posts on the same issue, many players are out right un-subbing due to poor communication and the laissez-faire attitude Zenimax is and has been displaying towards its customer base.

Not only does Zenimax need to address the issue but they also need to start talking about crediting players that have been plagued and hindered from using the service we are paying for.

Fix the 301 error preventing me from playing the game. By my estimation, because of the current loss of one day's playing time, you owe me $0.50. The subscription fee is $14.99 for 30 days, and one day of that playing time is $0.50. Most companies, when paying customers are unable to use their services, compensate in some way. As far as I'm aware, there has been no compensation mentioned or hinted at for any of the many afflicted accounts. This should be rectified.

I had to type my password and bang the login server for 30 minutes today to log in with 301 and 314 issues. Eventually it just randomly decided to let me in. How about making a queue system instead of pissing people off like this ESO?

Here is something I have been doing in order to avoid falling into the 301 trap again:

Every time I get either randomly kicked out, infinite loading screens, unending lag but unable to log out....

    DO NOT EXIT THE CLIENT.
Instead, go to Program Files>Zenimax Online>The Elder Scrolls Online>game>client
AND CLICK ON THE eso.exe FILE TO START A NEW CLIENT RUNNING.

Then try logging in with THIS new client. Occasionally I'll get timed out during login, but the next time after or first time usually I will be allowed to log in as it boots my PREVIOUS login from the server.

For this to work you need to have the old client still open when you start the new client running so it boots your old login off the servers.

Hope this helps someone else if you run into this.

It's not so much the money as the downtime, especially when we've scheduled playing.

You been working on it since Nov. 2013. You all said then that you will have a fix soon. I'm sorry but 7 or 8 months is not soon. Within a 4 to 6 weeks max can be considered soon.

Then again you may consider 1 million years from now as being soon when compared to 100 million centuries from now.
