Contrast this with another mmo you liked. For me personally, I just am not having as much fun as I could be having. I'm finishing up the VR++ from AD,EP, DC now in Rivenspire. I'm struggling to get through it all before I go back to SWTOR for a while.

However, I know my opinion is just me. So what about you guys? What draws you to this game that keeps you playing just like a player who likes WoW keeps playing WoW? What do you do? How does the game captivate you?

I'm not having much fun anymore either. I got to V10 and well....you're lucky if you see anyone walking in the zones I'm in. Crag is not my thing especially when a good amount of my friends quit the game already. I'm not going to group quest an entire zone - I don't like grouping to quest I want that for myself. I group for dungeons and events and I enjoy grouping for those situations....NOT questing.

I have a few days left on my sub. I thought this was going to be my game of the future till I realized ZoS thought process and their lack of actually addressing skill/class bugs ASAP. :/

Log in, look for a Craglorn quest group or Vet Dugn run. Wait 2 hrs, give up, log out.

Found out my PC can run ESO and Wildstar at the same time, so now I play Wildstar while looking for a group in ESO (two monitors). No I am not saying Wildstar is better, its just sometime to do while I look for a group in ESO

This man brings up an interesting point. Play more than one MMO at a time. See that's my probably. I like to stick with just one and go hard at it. I mean sure sure.. i'll break sometimes and check another game out, but I have one main game. Hell, I've tried to do two, but I just don't like it. I feel like I'm being spread too thin.

Best I can do with that is play my PS3 RPGs when they come out and continue my mmo casually while I'm going through it. I.E. feed the horse and log out.

I only need to finish the vr10 zone and then ... void.

I for sure wont be force into grouping to lvl , you can forget it , and zen did not dailies or anything else so ...

Currently im already playing other stuff like FO:NV , will probably also play child of light/transistor soon. Then i still got my 150+ games steam library to pick from.

I have my V12 sword and shield Imperial Templar character and I'm waiting for a few of my friends to be ready to start doing that content. In the meantime:

    1. Read the hireling emails. Seriously, they're awesome.
    2. Feed the Horses.
    3. Do any item refining and bank the stuff for later use.
    4. Set any necessary researches.
    5. Any V level buying and selling I need done.
    6. Bit of PVP.

But the big one I'm doing:

    7. Started a new character and starting the process all over again, but with a Breton Sorcerer. Not to dominate anything, as I probably won't even use the character much in PVP, but to see how the game plays from a completely different approach.

Enchanting D:. Its taking soooo long. But at least my DK is turning into a money factory atm. I do like all the quests though in the higher level areas. They are fun as well. I just hope that the next expansion they make it HARD for people to get ahead. That and start implementing new armors you can only get in dungeons that are well worth it. I'm just leveling alts on different factions. I like the fact that I can't go to a certain area of the zone because the mobs are a higher level than me. Rather a veteran zone where everything is the same level. Also experiencing different racial abilites, although my main is a VR12 DC Breton Nightblade. Interacting with different people from different factions is always fun.

    Lots of things.
I'm currently levelling my VR3 Dragon Knight.

I've parked my VR12 Templar for a while.
Most days I run some dungeons, farm a little, do some quests.

I will say that my 2nd playthough is far more enjoyable mainly due to not being a gimped templar.

Today I've mostly been questing, running a few of the low level group dungeons and testing out different builds.

Questing/crafting/the usual. I enjoy the story line, and exploring the world, and trying to get achievements. My main is only level 40, but I am still in Malabal Tor -- not too happy that I've already out-leveled most of Reaper's March. Once she hits 50, I'll start leveling up one of my alts, since I have friends in different alliances and would like to play with all of them. I'll probably give VRs a try, but they don't sound like a huge amount of fun. I'll probably try PvP again too at some point, but I already know I suck at it.

As long as I keep it slow and don't run out of content that I enjoy (questing, mainly), ESO should be able to entertain me for awhile.

Compared to other MMOs... well, I played Lotro for two years (will probably go back to it eventually, but took a break to try ESO), and I'm currently not doing anything different from what I did there. My main was at level 55, I think, and level cap is 95? With several alts, all below 55.

Seriously, I don't think I am ever going to make it to max level on anything.

Went through all zones, craglorn is hard to quest, I'm not able to solo it, and groups are too much a commitment of time and effort.

What really is there to do once you hit VR12 other than Trials or PVP or some very quick crafting stuff?

I see most people rolling alts to do the same exact quests over again. That sounds fun. Where is the variety? Seems like 90% of the things to do in this game are questing while leveling.

I level new skill lines and new morphs, in case they ever become useful in pvp.
My brother and I duo group dungeons together with varying success.
I quite like the story so I go back to zones and complete any missing quests for achievements.
We are also still gearing up our characters for pvp.

Since no other game is coming out for a while I am okay just building my character here for now. That being said, I really miss structured pvp.

...That and start implementing new armors you can only get in dungeons that are well worth it.

I really hope they don't do this. Dedicated crafters should be able to make the best armor in the game, maybe getting ingredients from certain dungeons either themselves or through trade.

I don't want this game to turn into a dungeon-running gear grinder. Other games offer that.

As to the OP's question, my VR12 Templar is parked. I use him for crafting, so I do research and get stuff from hirelings. I also take him out to help guildies who are leveling and for guild activities.

I'm leveling a both a dragon knight and sorcerer and find those much more fun than the templar. I'm not sure which one I will focus on yet.
