No high lvl leather drops means you cannot craft V7+ medium armor!

The leather drop table is bugged and seems to have been so for more than 6 weeks.
This means that the only source of superb leather is from hirelings when you have skill 35 to 39 in clothier.
I guess it shows how few people actually use medium armor that this issue haven't been looked at yet. But as it stands you cannot make medium crafted armor above V6 atm unless you are REALLY lucky.

Kayvee✭✭Hireling materials aren't based off of your level in the profession, they're based off of how many skill points you have in the first option. It really isn't that difficult to get leather scraps you know. Go farm some.0 -

If you play a DC character all mobs from V4 to V12 content ONLY drop IRONHIDE.
I just went all the way through the zones to test and it was ironhide from Malabal Tor all the way to Craglorn.2 -
jamodo✭The way I farmed Shadowhide Scraps (DC VR Zones) was going around killing bears in The Rift. I accumulated enough leather to make a vr10 set. Now I have to go back and do it for vr12.. once they fix this 301 error that is.1 -

Yes but was that before or after Craglorn? It was in the craglorn patch that they broke the loot table for leather.0 -

After Craglorn patch. It was Thursday I was farming the scraps from bears for like an hour or two.

✭I downloaded the PTS and went there to test if it was still bugged there, and I am happy to report it is fixed there!
Wont help me with superb hide on the live server but will help with the shadowhide because that is what I am going to need at the time it goes live.1 -
Ive got approx 600 shadowhide but it isn't showing in my crafting menu (lvl 50 clothier) cant figure out why?0
