Sub system still preuthorizes 15$ ?

I am wondering does the sub system still preauthorize 15$ + 15$ for sub.
Last month I had 15$ sub + 15$ frozen for a month on my CC. Because of preauth kicked in for some reason.
Not the end of the world, but quite annoying. Especially since its a revolving card and I actually payed interest for those 15$ that were released at monthly cycle.

✭Hey, @Paske. If you aren't setting up a new payment method, you won't see the authorization charge this time. That said, if you are setting up a new subscription or changing your payment method, you'll see an authorization charge. We have lowered the authorization charge to be one dollar in the player's local currency (one pound in Great Britain, one euro in Europe, etc.) as opposed to the full subscription amount.0
