Why do you like playing ESO?

What do we like about ESO? I think I have the most fun in group dungeons. The combat is engaging and keeps me interested--I like having to aim and block and dodge.

I like the quests so far. For the most part they are decently voice-acted. I especially like how many of the voices are familiar to me from anime.

I like crafting--it's good to have the armor and potions and staves I make actually be useful.

And, I like the world. It's pretty, and complicated enough to keep exploration fun.

ESO is my next Everquest, and I ONLY playing MMOs for the long terms.

I think you hurt Everquest Next's feelings. ;)

I was following EQn for quite a bit. Was excited. But the MOMENT they released its free to play. Sorry, my interest went out of the window.

I was the same way. F2P can ruin a game.

The NA community. The way a stranger will come up and help, and you with others, all without a word, you work together. We’re all learning together.

The Lore. Reading it, and experiencing it, is amazing, and completely grasps you, sucks right in. You find yourself reading every bit of text, and listening to NPC conversations.

The Quests. More then once, they’ve left me with a wow, that was good!

The music. Nothing more nice then galloping on your horse listening to the sounds of the World as you explore.

    Well said.

I tend to turn the game music off.... and listen to The Sword as I play. This game pairs extremely well with The Sword's music.

The main attraction for me is simply the scenery and atmosphere, I LOVE all the different architectural styles and the landscapes. I love the music as well. I really enjoy wandering and exploring. It's just a nice place to be.

I enjoy quests to help people out.

I have a lot of fun just playing around with all the options in the character creation section, even if I'm not going to spend a lot of time playing with those characters.

I also like having lots of different options of abilities to choose from. I haven't played a lot of other games, but from my limited experience, I hate feeling boxed in, and with ESO I feel like there's a pretty good number of options, enough that I don't find myself constantly frustrated, (although I do rather miss Skyrim's ability to learn a wider variety of spells on one character, or play without using any magic at all). There are also some pretty cool effects that go with some of the spells/'skills'.

If I had real life friends who also had this game I know I would really enjoy meeting up with them to do group dungeons and such.

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women !
