Is wmpnetworksvc a legitimate windows service? possible lag loadscreen fix for win7 PCs.

Disabled it as as soon as ESO started it was hijacking 3 of my 4 gigs of ram. Got 5+ hours of lag/loadscreen free play on almost ultra settings on my ancient AMD X2 system even in pvp.

jorj82✭a quick google search says it's windows media player trying to share files online, or something like that. maybe block WMP in firewall?

BCBasher✭✭✭We have a networked house with 3 windows 7 PCs handling different types of media and sharing them. Now is ESO triggering this service or causing it to hang? Is this affecting other people with lag stutter loading screens too? If its windows virus\malware protection would ignore it
