Crafting mats from breaking down these pieces have a ton of value.

Your little suggestion might be the thing that kills off elder scrolls. Nice going buddy.
Seriously no one is finding ESO quests fun twice. you want to know why ?
Because they force you to do every last one of them if you dont have something like anomalies.
people are already complaining about veteran content being mind numbingly boring. This is a good way to really cement that feeling.

Probably. If you can't have enough imagination to enjoy a game for what it is. If you can't play in a competitive way in PvP because you're just good at using exploits in PVE. If you can't help but repeat the same mistake game after game...then probably.

At the risk of slightly derailing this thread, the achievement issue is scheduled to be fixed on Monday as well.

Why don't you go ahead and make a few more assumptions about me and the way I play?
I play in PvP often, participating in all types of PvP from massive zergs, coordinated assaults on keeps and resources, small group gank squads, camping out at daily quest hubs for some 1v1 and 1v2 action and even 2v2 or whatever happens.
Enough imagination? Good luck having imagination when there is nothing to do with that imagination. Sorry, but I'm not a RPer and wouldn't have any fun sitting at a city bar pretending that it's real life.
This game was good up until V1. After that it just became a chore.
If you like small group PvP (2-4 players) and solo PvP check out my videohttps://youtube.com/watch?v=jechGImtFio
SPOILER: The first 40 seconds of the video contains a scene from the final Molag Bal boss fight!

the "grinders" just get a "virtual level" (V1 mobs still woop their ass)
no skillpoints (in fact they are missing out on skillpoints)
no fun (just stupid grind)
no benefit (the "loot" of the anomalies ist USELESS in the V12 area), just some gold and some upgrade mats)
they aquire no battle experiance = they have to L2P at V12
in fact .... they just waste time

Yes, give them a boost. Grinding is no fun, vr is no fun nor inmersive.
It seems the fun is when you reach vr12, so let us be vr12 asap.
Isn't the fun at vr12? Then the fun should be in PVP, so let us be vr12 asap.
Or where is the fun?
Using exploits or bugs to lvl faster than the others?
If you are gonna touch the anomalies, you should rollback all the items and xp if it was a bug. Or ban the players if it was an exploit.
The fun is in the game. 17 days played on one character. Level 42. Having lots of fun.
Of course the game is going to be boring if you don't actually play it and just skip everything. I mean, what did you expect?

They real should fix the Anomalies.
none of that drops you would like to use at V12, i assure you (and not only because they stop at V11)
the faster people go to V12, the more people need V12 crafted sets ^^
True, but anyone can level crafting up in a day now through deconstruct.
