Zenimax must hate solo NB players, especially ranged ones

Lol. I am having a horrible time soloing things in vr8, compared to other classes. The biggest issue is mobs resetting when I stealth. Secondly, healer mobs regain full health before I can interrupt. third caster npcs hit me for half health each cast, despite me having all purple vr8 armor. incredibly frustrating.

Not surprised though. Dark Age of Camelot nerfed the crud out of stealthed archers. we are a despised class i guess. Disappointing.

Then dont use ranged... Dualwield is so much more effective as that healer/caster will be dead before he even realize wtf hit him. Combine with cloaked armor boost and mobs barely hurt you while you're doing it.

Or of course go light armor and destro/resto AoE spam the *** out of the mobs, whatever.

I always conceived NB an a ranged opener who sometimes needs to get close up and personal .. which is why I swap bow/dual-wield in ESO like I did in other games with a similar hybrid type of 'hunter'-like builds.

@Columba, not surprised stealthed ranged got nerfed, it's a very OP playstyle unless carefully controlled by the developers.

And as @murklor007neb18_ESO suggested, if you see a healer in the group leap/kill them.

Stop being ONE DIMENSIONAL and only using a bow, you'll be a LOT more effective that way.

Have no problem soloing as an exclusively ranged nightblade - poison shot has an interrupt built in when morphed correctly which makes healers really easy - magnum shot makes kiting any melee mobs a breeze. Biggest issue I have is ranged casters hitting hard with un-interruptible spells that I have no real defence against, the shadow ultimate makes taking down groups of 3 pretty simple with dot/slow effects.

Dissapointing is that you wanna play like WoW - stay and click 4-5 buttons in rotation.
I saw several NBs who took out group of three mobs faster, than my "very-OP" sorc with destro staff skills.
Learn how to play, stop whining.

I love these posts...
I could explain what is wrong with the "One time I saw" posts in a realm where random convergences happen but I doubt s/he'd get it.

OP I haven't played for a week or so- are you saying that mobs now reset if I go stealth while fighting them (using dark cloak etc)?

I use both bow and dual wield. Issue is with getting nuked down before I can kill the healer.

Number one rule I learned iN VR, pick your battles if I see 3 casters, i'm avoiding them. now a caster healer fighter, i bet i can take, burn the heals, then caster, while blocking the fighter's attacks, the important this is to not mess up a block or interrupt, one mess up and you could be dead

Hmm, I am not sure about this. I just logged on and the mobs stayed damaged when I stealthed with dark cloak mid combat (both with bow or with melee). Perhaps I misunderstood what you are saying.

It's sporadic. It happens on about a third of my fights. Always when using the bow.

The mob reset happens occasionally but not always - it's like many of the faulty NB abilities you can rely on them 80% of the time but the other 20% of the time you get pummeled.

I suspect the outcry is lacking because after a couple of months of trying to succeed with stamina flavoured NB builds & realising ZOS either cannot or will not fix the class people have either given up and 'gone stick'. re-rolled with one of the more favoured classes or simply given up the game.

Hell this isn't even the only ability they broke recently - see the issue with Shades now directing aggro at the player rather than taking it or the issue with Shadow Cloak simply not working on some mobs at all or... or... etc.
