Game destroying problem

ed.radleyrwb17_ESO
The bank walked away from me, I clicked him again think I clicked bank and dumped my entire Inventory into him. Then I found it was going into an essentially DEAD guild bank I can't withdraw from. 10 Kuta, 44 Torpin etc x 80 stack EVERY thing on value on my account. The officers are 16 days since logging in etc. The deposit tabs look identical - it shows MY inv slots on deposit.

I sent mails to the leadership, no answer in 2 days now. This is such a serious problem for me it is game breaking. I was trying to level my biggest characters crafting to make her end game gear... but lost everything I have acquired since the servers opened ...

Well this is no Gamebraking Problem, form what you are talking it was your own fault.

(Maybe i understand it wrong, than please explain it again)

Not sure why you're posting here, the game is WAI as I see it from your description, you obviously clicked GUILD BANK the second time.

All you can do is raise a ticket and pray .. though I'm not at all sure ZOS will do anything, nothing's broken it seems.

Maybe my mouse lagged as I clicked the tab.. Problem is it looks the same once you click it unless you click withdrawl and see a capacity of 500 on the bank not some number around 100

Stress stops me playing a game - it has broken it for me

I went through this once, lagged a bit as I clicked and bang! wrong bank :s
I realized my mistake after I dropped 3 items.
    Emailed the leader, no answer.
I have known of some games where guild leaders can be removed when they haven't been active (log in) for more than a week.

    Name one of them!

Sure, I expect most MMOs have a policy of a replacement taking over if a leader is absent for a LONG time, but none will do so after only a week, that's simply a gross exaggeration.

I did this exact same thing by accident one time as well. And in my opinion it's not really your fault either. The guild bank/store interface is so confusing and cumbersome (not to mention riddled with bugs) mistakes like these are very easy to make.

It needs some urgent care from the devs.

I think you are abusing the term. This hardly qualifies as game breaking, and in truth you are doing a real disservice to those that are genuinely suffering from such problems. There are people suffering constant disconnects, an inability to log in to the game at all, and people who can't complete the main story line due to a bug in one certain quest. Do you not appreciate how insulting it is for you to compare a careless act on your part to their very real problems.

What happened to you was the result of a string of bad decisions made on your part, and not just a one of mistake. You obviously didn't vet your guild properly, and when you realized, or should have realized it was defunct. You should have left that guild. Finally you lacked patience to match your lack of discipline. If the move you were performing was so critical. You should have taken the time to make sure you were doing it correctly.

You have every right to be annoyed with yourself, but you shouldn't blame the game, or the developer in this case. You had a lot of opportunities to avoid this disaster, and you were so busy being sloppy you didn't stop to pay attention to your surroundings. If that is how you want to live your life virtual or real. Then it is probably best you get used to these grand reversals right now. Your gripe basically boils down to they didn't make it fool proof.

Honestly you should feel more embarrassed then aggravated. You really did something incredibly stupid, and now you are compounding it by making a spectacle of yourself, and blaming the innocent for your own recklessness. At what point exactly do things become your fault in this world you live in. At what point do you take responsibility for your actions, and accept the consequences.

I agree with you that calling it game-breaking is an exaggeration.

But it's an easy mistake to accidentally put your materials into the wrong bank. The interface is just horrid and makes it more likely goof-ups like these will take place.

For example: the menu frequently doesn't even load for me. Or it resets itself - or opens up with a different guild bank. So I think the OP deserves a little slack and isn't wholly responsible. :)

These games were F2P games, from R2 Games (League of Angels or Blood and Jade, not sure).
If the leader had been away for more than 8 days the next rank officer could take the leader position.

Yes would be nice if they had a succession thing for when the leader is not even subbed or interested in playing anymore.

In Lotro I have an option to "Ursurp" the leadership, he has been gone months - maybe a year. But would rather not and don't need to there, people can drift back once they are bored of whatever they moved to

Okay, so not real MMOs that people pay to play then, 8 days is a crassly short time to take leadership away from someone who's paid money to play the game.
