not all ESO customer service is bad

We see all the bad things that have happened posted here (and the ones mentioned, if they occurred as reported, were bad) but sometimes it helps to know that ESO's customer service DOES work.

It has for me, twice. The first time, I put in a request for a phone back on a problem I was having about 2 weeks ago. Note, I live in Australia, so they had to call me from the US. They did this within a couple of hours, and resolved my issue.

The second was today. Due to various problems, both game related and personal, I have had to discontinue my subscription. However, there is a chance I can reconnect with the game later in the year and I wanted to know if I would be able to regularly update the game to avoid having a huge download when and if I did. I received a response, again within a couple of hours, confirming that I could, expressing regret at not being able to play and hoping I could return in the future.

So yes, my two contacts with the team have been positive, and I hope such positive outcomes occur more often for other people.

Yes but those are just simple things, well not sure about the first as you didn't elaborate. If anything that's slightly difficult then they either send the generic mumbo jumbo or don't bother calling you.

I had a great experience when they had the infinite loading bug just a little while ago. The CSR, believe is handle was Pedro, moved me several times until I got to an area where I could load properly (and within minutes.)
Round peg? Square hole? Not a problem with a big enough hammer.

Every experience I have had with them going back to last September has been excellent, no matter whether I contacted them via phone, e-mail, or in game report. A Worm's Blood Ale toast to all of them!
