What Is Current Plight of NB 'normal' build?

Is it true that the current NB is broken/crippled by ineffective skills and that that is why one resorts to using staves with them or try tanking ineffectively with them? Could this explain my bad luck with my NB and single player bosses?

✭✭Yes... Most people have issues with the NB and have come to regret creating a character. Half of their skills don't work correctly, especially the siphoning ones.Far too many characters to list any more.1 -

Thanks. All the more justification for a full refund if you can't play the character you want to play. I won't be forced to play a Sorcerer or a DK just because the NB character is fubar.0
