Log out, disable add-ons, relog. If you have out of date add-ons enabled I found that some of them and chat add-ons cause the esc key to stop responding.

I found the following message in my inbox this morning concerning error 301, login timeout errors:

Changing compatibility state and running as administrator seems to have solved this issue for some users.
To run as administrator and in compatibility mode.

"Right-click" on the launcher icon
Select Properties
Choose the "Compatibility Tab"
Check the box that says "Run as Administrator"
Check the "Drop Down Box" and select Windows XP SP2
Click Apply and OK.
Reboot the PC and see if you are now able to log in.
Repeat the above steps, whether it worked or not, but change compatibility back to its original state this time.

You should now be able to log in as normal.

I'm curious... Has anyone actually had this solve their log in issue? This did nothing for me and really seems like i'm being fed BS by the shovel-full. I already determined the problem is not with my PC and I informed them of that. Still, this is the fix i get.

No No and thrice NO! Those solo instances are gear and skill checks. They are there to make sure you are up for what is about to come and often force you to revaluate your skills.

Why wouldn't that be normal? It doesn't imply something is broken. It tells me is that the Harvester should go down first.

"Normal" was before 1.1.2, when we could actually BASH (=stun) a harvester while it was casting Black Winter. Nowadays we may bash, but we still get one shot by the spell as it won't interrupt it...

Screen flickering in game menu that continue when exiting to windows until I reboot. That's the only thing I want for now, that's a shame. This is happening since craiglorn patch.

My game crashes after 5-10 minutes play in a group. Both in Craglorn content, and in veteran dungeons. I had a break for 5 weeks hoping this would be fixed but it hasn't been. I assume this is the memory leak issue, but seeing as it is supposedly fixed i'm not sure what it is.

Was also disappointed to see that the blue item drops from Veteran dungeons VR 5-10 are still broken and don't have a trait on them.

Also after logging into Craglorn, found that all people are doing is farming mobs, hardly anyone is running the quests.

Combat, is turning really dull. All people seem to do now is run casters with impulse. GG. Just ran a dungeon, thought i was playing Neverwinter again. Pull group, aoe everything. Move on. Only need a tank at boss fights.

YAWN.

I don't make whine posts usually, normally i defend this game, but after this break and come back seeing little changed, i would rather invest my time in something else.


Cancelled my sub today.

I was wondering the same thing myself.

Probably got tired of reading a bunch of hateful posts and started ignoring the forums. I don't blame them either.

Games fine, is the community that's screwed.

For the most part it doesn't bother me as I have been soloing most of the way through anyway. The higher levels (VR9/10) world bosses though are for the most part not as solo-able as the ones previously. I hate leaving things unfinished before moving to the next zone, it messes with my OCD.

Join a PvE guild and group with a couple of guildmates for those hard bosses

I would agree for them to restart this thread now. I am making a thread about this thread now to hopefully get the OP attention so they can update it.
