no playing after maintenance

I was playing my game fine until maintenance was performed this morning. I push the blue play button , it turns gray the little icon spins and right back to a blue play button... No error codes no nothing. I pushed the repair button, some downloading starts, it goes from 0 to 100% ,turns blue and I push play. Same thing all over again. I sent out a report to support and I'm told to change some settings and that my launcher should now not be starting full page

... It never did start in full page. Again, I can't get past pushing the play button... Anyone else have this issue ?

Did you get the update? If so have you tried launching directly from eso.exe? Try that and bypass the launcher.

i got the update but i haven't tried the direct launch. I'll try it thanks

Wow thought I had the update because when I repaired it it downloaded but I just noticed on the launcher where it usually shows what update version is running (like 1.1.3) is blank... $:\$ wonder what that means.. i tried to launch as admin. but didn't work.

Sounds the new exe is being blocked by your firewall/anti-virus. Disable and run as a test.

Disabled firewall , no difference . I'm going to be sick if I have to reload this game... I'm on satellite only get so many gbs per month... I have had no problems until today.. Well except for the whole Molag Bal destroys me every time I try and defeat him.. But that has nothing to do with launching the game

, just my gaming abilities

There are some that run Windows that have to allow the Elder Scrolls/eso.exe through the Windows firewall even though they have allowed it through Norton or other proggies. That has helped a few.

Got on !! I ran my webroot scan and then it started working

yeah a friend of mine on windows 8 i not only had to re allow it on the antivirus but had to make a rule for the launcher and eso game executable to allow all incoming and out going data, and then my friend could log in

Another option: if you have your game installed in the Program Files on Windows, you may want to either move your installation to a different folder or right click the launcher and run as administrator.
