Will Biting Jabs Still Have GD?

Mate , the nerf to bitting jabs was not even in the patchs notes :P.

That is how much you can trust those.

This makes me wonder if any nerf was even intentional. It seems like one guy just threw in a 2 second GCD for sh*ts and giggles. In no world would a 2s GCD EVER make sense, no matter how many shrooms you were on.

Keep in mind this was the same patch that buffed VR1-10 mobs to VR12 levels unintentionally.

Normally , i would agree with you BUT a forum mod said it was intentional , just not listed.

After they saw the backlash of the community , they understood how bad of a call that was and made the change back.

Why would any one want to spam one ability over and over again unless you are bot? I play Templar and I got bored of using this ability in my 20's. We have so many useful abilities, use them with Biting Jabs if you wish!. Spamming one ability is not fun nor challenging.

when will zos stop screwing with templars we are already screwed when it comes to dps our spells do way less more dmg than any other class you would think a fireball aka vampire's bane would hit a vamp for good dmg but no. and they screw with the one skill we actually have? puncturing strikes after shield bash was nerfed is our only real dps and now its costing me 324 magicka to cast. Seriously why the hell would they make it so nbs can out heal templars and out tank, DKs can still out tank and out dps us, our crits are a joke compared to a NB and Sorc and DK. But one of our biggest problems as templars when it does come to using skills is you have a choice I will either fight and use all my magicka because our recovery of it sucks esp if we need to use sun shield, or you will use all your magicka healing for a little which again will run out fast. It is pretty much trying to force us to play only as a support which I can understand but then why make the game saying you can play any class with any build. If you are going to make something cost more magicka take off the stupid cap on magicka so we can spec into it and actually be able to use our skills more than a handful of times unlike dk's sorcs and nbs you can see spamming their stuff nonstop in crowds of people almost all day.

WELCOME, my childrens, to the GRAND WORLD of ESO! Step right up , and be amazed at "play how you want" systems showcased in golden glory!

Please read the now-inserted tiny disclaimer print before you get started with all the fun!

    Difficulty levels:

    Dragon Knight: Novice, Apprentice

Sorcerer: Novice (Great for beginners new to the genre!)

Nightblades: Expert (We like to change the rules often on this one, so don't get too comfortable!)

Templars: Adept, Expert, Master (Not only do we arbitrarily and randomly diminish skills according to whim, but the skills currently in place are only for the bravest of the brave! Daydream of the glory!!)

Now just pick a class, pick a direction, and run anywhere you want to go! Don't forget to stock up on the most potent potions known to mankind first! ;)

They should add this post to their store page :P.

It would for sure diminish the amount of complains they get.

Yes, the cost does seem to have increased, but that's a change I can live with. Its meant to be an execute/ knockback utility skill.. not our ONLY skill.

Then maybe melee templars should have say another melee skill? I know it is unreasonable to ask that we get another ability somewhere that caters to melee, clearly we were all meant to grab a staff, elder staff online amirite?

People still don't seem to get the concept of a global cooldown. Understandable spamming the same skill would be boring and yeah we should mix it up to make it more challenging. If it had an internal cooldown it would work like this.

Cast biting jabs (can't use again for 1.5seconds) cast heal or sweep or something else that is available.

With a global cooldown cast biting jabs (nothing is available for 1.5 seconds) so you wait and either cast it again or cast another spell once the biting jabs cd is done. The cool down applies to ALL your spells which made no sense.

    See the problem here?

My cost went from 303 to 328. Roughly 8% Increase. Could have been worse. I'm not overly upset over it, but still don't believe it needed an increase at all.

The 1.2 second ICD seems to have been removed, along with the overly obnoxious GCD, even though they never acknowledged adding the GCD in the 1.1.2 patch notes, it's gone now, so I'm happy about that at least.

New issue with Biting Jabs. If you use a 1h/shield like I do, and you pre-block so you don't get torn to shreds, beware of mobs that cast Aura of Protection. That's the green glowy totem thing some mobs cast. If they do, your biting jabs will be interrupted after the first jab goes off. You can't pre-block against anything that casts Aura of Protection. You can against anything else.
