You apparently don't know what a hotfix is. A hotfix is a change made on the server, to make adjustments that do not require a client patch. These are typically VERY simple things like number adjustments. A client patch is *by definition* not a hotfix. Quit the armchair programming, you obviously don't understand how it works.

When did I ever state that a client patch or a hotfix were the same thing?
I simply just stated that some of those small fixes could have been implemented at the time they were fixed, instead of waiting for a week to roll them out client side. Chill, bro.

If they could've implemented the changes server side without a client patch, they would have. The fact that it was done with a client patch means a client patch was required to make these changes. You don't know how the client and server work. Saying something could've been done without a client patch is rather blatantly wrong, since 1) you have no way to know that, and 2) the fact that the changes were made with a client patch means there was no way to hotfix it.
They actually make hotfixes all of the time to make minor adjustments in this game.
