I don't have any customized key binds and have this issue along with the esc key randomly stopping working. Yes, I know if I /camp it fixes itself for a few minutes; however, it worked just fine prior to patch so... yeah, fix it. Along with everything else you broke.

This is still happening to me. Hours of play outside of towns, no problem. Had to resort to going to Skywatch. I went to Stonefalls town ONCE today and it glitched again, now all my subsequent logins are glitched even in dungeons away from town.

Okay its sporadic. Just happened repeatedly in CH random areas. Wow.

Okay each time this is happening, again, my web browsers all become unresponsive. Multitasking becomes an issue and my computer says my performance is poor. What is going on?

I haven't played today but yesterday the first time played since last weeks "fix" I was getting g all kinds of lag delayed input. I have a macro keyboard with my useful or funny emotes and I tried one in an area with lots of NPCs and it didn't fire and I was frozen so I hit the key again and then all of the other ones. There was a 30,second pause and then a 5 minute dance routine as they all fired in sequence as if they'd been buffered then frozen again. I'm getting fed up with these fixes for stuff that's not affecting me breaking my game that was working fine before craglorn came out seeing as how I'll never vet to see it anyway at this pace.

That happens to me if/when it kicks back in before crashing. In a dungeon, I lagged. Crashed. Logged in, was still dead. Couldn't res. All of a sudden I watch the entire, and I mean ENTIRE ongoing fight with my 3 group mates in fastforward mode before I ressed. Even after that I was lagging the entire way.

Your issues stem from system usage. Their recent patch introduced a problem into the game code that resides on your machine. Causing it to make far more use of system memory then it ought to. Which throttles down your performance until your system locks up.

What you are experiencing is not a form of latency, or an issue to do with your internet connection. You are experiencing the after effects of a crash. Your rig is just so overburdened by the excessive memory usage that it is taking it a few minutes to recognize the fact, and thus it still looks like the game is running to you, but it really isn't running, and that is why you can't do anything.

That said not everyone is experiencing this problem. Which is typically a good sign that the new game code may be conflicting with certain drivers. Such as it is trying to make poor use of a particular feature of your graphics card. Now if that is the case then the problem could be resolved by installing an older driver. Until the developer resolves the problem.

Obviously not an ideal situation, and neither is the alternative of reducing your systems performance, but you really can't do much else. Other then making sure to periodically close the application to clear system memory. We really are going to have to wait for a fix on this one. If however you are proactive you can do something to help the developer out.

When you next report the system crash problem. Make sure to give them your system specifications. Specifically your graphics card, and the driver that you are using in conjunction with it. That might help them find the problem faster. There you go no more need to spam the forums.

Also if any on my suggestions work for you please document them, and report them on this thread. So that we can relate it to others having similar problems. Seriously don't just fix your problem, and forget to tell anybody. Just remember how you feel right now, and that someone else is probably feeling the exact same way.

I've lost 3 hours of gameplay and my life trying to figure this out. This is ridiculous. I need a response.

I'm kind of getting tied of doing their job for them with this reporting and whatnot. Especially considering it's so damn slow it is cutting into time I'd like to be playing the game I'm paying them a premium to play. Mine was working fine before Craglorn and I'm nowhere near needing vet content to work, every time the "fix" something they break 2 more things. I've been playing since the last 4 betas and daily since early access, the more they "fix" the less I want to play/pay, I'm down to every couple days long enough to get frustrated with all the improvements.

Did you not just read my post. I suggested one possibility that might eliminate the problem outright, and two that might mitigate some of the symptoms. There is nothing else to be done. Other then wait patiently for the developer to figure out where the problem is in there code. I couldn't even advise you as to which alternate driver might make the game work on your rig. My card probably isn't your card, and frankly I am of a mind to grin and bare it.

I have personally adopted the third of my options. I play for about half an hour, and then completely exit the game for about ten minutes to clear my cache. It is what it is. I have limited myself to camping dungeons where there are plentiful safe spots, and easy to kill final bosses. Would I rather be running quests. Yes absolutely I would, but I can't for right now. So I am making the best of a fairly bad situation.

If they don't fix the problem in the next couple of days. I wont be renewing my subscription. Maybe I will come back and try the game in five or six months, but I am not going to risk my rig to play one particular game. That is all there is to it really. My rig cost me a great deal of money, and I am not going to destroy it, because one developer can't get their product to work on it, and I am well past the point in my life where I am going to waste insane amounts of time tweaking my software to accommodate a developer.

As a consumer I am well past the point where I am going to waste time ranting, or throwing tantrums about things that don't work. I duly note the seller as not being reliable, and give another prospective company a chance at having my business. Silence is deafening, and screaming is ignored. If you can't make it work on your rig, or aren't of a mind to make it work. I don't know what else to tell you. Other then there are other fish in the sea.

Have the same issue, games plays along just fine, smooth as glass and then lag spike, freeze for about 20 seconds and then fine again. No sense in hashing over it, they know the problem exists and will fix it in due time. They have no way of knowing what everyone is running the game on or what the issue may be with each individual player. I just put up with it for now and enjoy the game. I can say that for some reason my ctd have improved since the last patch. Not sure why, but I am glad.

Still happening even post-patch. Thought this would be over with by now.
