Customer Support is lacking.

So, I want to begin by saying that I love ESO and that I love ZOS, for the msot part.

With that being said, I strongly feel that the Customer Support service is lacking extremely and is frankly very poor. GMs and support members who we send the email reports to have very little control over the game, which can cause issues that can't be resolved due to the lack of ZOS control over their own game. For example, some people abuse the C.O.D system to hold people's items hostage for a few days. This is an incredible problem when dealing with expensive stuff, such as the rare motifs. The lack of control ZOS has just allows this type of stuff to go.

So, to amend this situation, I see three options. Increase the control ZOS has over their own game, add many options for the players to use to prevent issues, such as canceling mails, or give the players full GM commands, and increase the accessibility of those commands. I think option one would be better.

your example is something that was implemented into the code. Obviously your issue shouldn't be with CS, but the devs who made it ok to have the emails not go back until a month is up, this should be in game discussion, about the time it takes those COD mails to return. otherwise the only draw back is that you dont have access to the item for a while so if prices get higher then lower, you cant take advantage.

the problem with your example of email isnt a good one. If I was a gm and you asked me to reverse a cod email that you sent I would not. Not without talking to the player to whom you sent the email to. You dont have the right to change your mind about an item or a price you sent the email with. If you sent it cod and you havnt got the cod money back yet that's the risk you took.

Now in other things I could agree with you. The ability to advance a quest, or reset things it would be nice if gm's had some more ability in that regard
