I will begin this by saying I am a patient man. I teach first graders as proof to the infinite amount of patience I can have. I have sat back and dealt with the bugs because I know they are a part of this massive creation. With that being said.... My patience has worn thin,

I have been playing for a little under a month and this morning, I wake up, brew a pot of coffee and sit down to finish the grind to lvl 50 on my Sorc. Click the launcher (as usual), enter my credentials (as usual) and.... Login: Timeout

I then close everything down, still patient mind you. Do it all again, This time with brewed coffee in hand... Login: Timeout

Hmmm... Maybe the servers are down. Go to the forums. Nope. Servers are up. Reboot the computer... Log in... Still patient... Log in: Timeout

No problem. google eso login problems... Patience is still there and coffee is half full...

Delete all my add ons. Go to the launcher and rename the folder to backup as instructed by Zenimax...

Login: timeout,,,, Second cup of coffee, Getting slightly annoyed...

Find a fabulous post by a non- Zenimax employee that says to run as admin and select Windows Vista pack.... Windows vista sucked... But I really want my Sorc to 50...

I will call Zenimax... Go to customer support. Click the phone icon and I dont even get a 1-800 or 1-888 number? All I get is "we are getting bombarded with massive amount of phone calls and your wait time is 1 hour. But please fill out this form detailing your problem and we will call you back. How can wait time be an hour if you dont even provide the phone number?

Patience... Gone... Coffee... Gone... Sorcerer still at lvl 49 and my wife just woke up which means my ESO time is... Like my patience and coffee... Gone

I love your game Zenimax but honestly your game... Your team... Your customer support needs some coffee...

    It is terribly frustrating. It seems there's always this sort of problem for a day or two or three surrounding patches or any sort of server maintenance for me, and many other users apparently. Much like OP I have a very deep well of patience... keeping a game like ESO running is a difficult task and there are bound to be technical hitches along the way... but that's not much help against the growing frustration that many players (myself included) are bound to feel when they are only able to log in occasionally.

    They did announce that they were doing maintenance today.

    My guess is you just hit the not so sweet spot when the server was down ...

    If you notice, he started this thread yesterday. No maintenance.

    Well the good news is, I am able to log back in. I would question the advice from technical support that the problem was on my end but at the end of the day. I can log in so all is well. Thanks all for the kind responses.

    I feel your pain, except at least I can login.

    This is standard Bethesda/Zenimax stuff, it's just this is the first time I've been expected to pay monthly to be screwed by them.
