Accidental roll backs should never occur in a modern MMO, particularly from the occasional server or character crash. It's a literal theft of people's time. Roll backs to undo ill gotten gains due to an exploit, delivered on a per character or per account basis, are to be expected. Roll backs to rectify a major game breaking bug affecting thousands of players probably would be grudgingly accepted if there was no other remedy. But roll backs as part of what are becoming routine server and character crashes are completely unacceptable.

✭I refuse to play as any character in Stonefalls until the rollbacks are fixed. 3 times losing 25 minutes was enough. Happy to play alts in other areas, but unless someone can get Sheogorath some Aged Colovian cheddar, what chance do we have of lasting stability? Or was it stable elasticity? Difficult to no, really. Yes, I mean no.0 -
Had it happen twice in Cold Harbor, about 30 minutes gone. Once after just having a nice blue drop.
Playing mostly an alt for now until this gets fixed.
And playing much less now anyway, since after an hour of playing the graphics deteriorate to crap on a Mac because of their memory "fix" (more of a really bad workaround). Not fun.1 -
GossiTheDog✭✭✭✭✭Search for rollbacks, it's been happening since 1.1.2 rolled out (and Stormhaven has been rolling back since mid-April on a regular basis). In fairness to Zenimax they've finally conceded it's a major issue and they say they're working on it as of one week ago.0
