The problem is not with "mechanics", "lag", "glitches", "bugs", or anything else people are whining about. My Nightblade solos perfectly fine. I was level 30 before I went down the first time. No. The issue is people want the one shot wonder rogue. Well, guess what, this is Tamriel and that guy doesn't live here. You have a magicka skill line. All of the classes have a magicka skill line. Get over it. You can setup your bar to bounce back and forth between magicka and stamina so you can last longer in combat. What exactly is the issue there? If a skill is bugged or broken, it's bugged or broken for everyone and I don't have any issues. The only lag I've gotten was on the server side and once when a tree limb fell on my fibre cable. Neither had to do with the game.

But the NB can work as a ''one shot wander rogue'' sometimes. even in VR. ~1600-1800 crit damage is no joke .

Leaching strikes does leach health form normal and heavy attacks it does not proc for 15% which is normal since the description states that the 10% proc only applys to magicka and stamina. The ability is however bugged since it only leaches about 2% health per hit instead of 4%

With a Melee weapon.... whom are you kidding friend. Yes, on an NPC several levels lower that might just work if you get lucky...but on a same level NPC... come on, stop spreading tales.

If youre getting 2% for health you are getting more than alot of us, coz me and many others are not getting anything in health back. There are even vids of this issue
Nope I am a VR6. And I can say that what I said before was true at lvl 32 as it is at VR6. You can one shot some mobs at your level from stealth with Surprise attack if you are speced for damage and crit damage.gunsofdeschain wrote: »did you guys say you are level 32??

If you are going to review your experience with a class, do not do it until you are V2. Please, just don't.

Veiled Strike morphed to Surprise attack fully leveled with capped magicka and and the shadow mundus is able to take out some low armor mob from stealth in just one shot at VR6.This is of course for the first target in a group if you do it right. Most of the time you need a heavy attack and a killer's blade to finish the target though. It works great if you target the mage or healer first since they die fast and they are the most dangerous. My opening with surprise attack crits for >1600damage.
This is of course pretty hard to pull of on a player but in pve it's great.
So no it is no tall tale.mstout7419b14_ESO wrote: »mstout7419b14_ESO wrote: »V4 nb and my only complaint is passives not working properly or completely not applied after death, being forced to relog to have some passives reapplied, as well several abilties not doing what their description says, like leaching strikes says it applies to health but does not do anything for health

This is weird might be due some other factor that bugs it. Are you vampire or use something unusual.. I certainly get 2% on weapon attacks. I think that 2% is useful enough to always keep that skill on my tab. I would love to have it at 4% though.

I am a vamp and everyone I know that has the issue is as well. Even the vids ive seen of the issue they are vamps.... so it could be a vamp isuue effecting nb, just like when you die as a vamp all my movement speed passives from nb shadow line and vamp passives no longer work and I have to relog

Another issue for me seems to be that you can only use stealth once in any given combat. In Skyrim I would use hit and run tactics and try and re-stealth where possible; in EOS I attacked a group of creatures from stealth broke of and escaped the cave I was in through a passage before finding a corner in the next care to crouch down in. I was far enough ahead for none of the pursuing creatures to realistically know where I was yet all turned 90 degrees and headed straight for me like heat seeking missiles once entering the cavern.
I guess that stealth is a difficult skill to balance as it can be devastating but I'm also finding the way that a groups of MOBS react as a single entity annoying. Once you're unstealthed to a single creature in a group all the creatures instantly know about you and home in, even if they're out of line of sight. In many instances this makes sense as the creature seeing you would call out, but this mechanic still applies if you take out a grouped MOB that's out of line of sight of the main group with a single strike (no chance to cry out); again in Skyrim a solo thief could sometimes whittle down a large group with judicious sneak attacks.
I've spent a far bit of time developing a sneak character is EOS but I'm certainly finding it less potent than it might be.
