Would you mind posting your melee DPS build? Which ability did you substitute for biting jabs? Or are you still using it, and just coping with the 1.2 seconds of vulnerability after each cast?

I didn't hardly notice a change at allbut I use several other abilities too and never relied on just biting jabs to get the job done. It's in my rotation and by the time I use the other 2 or 3 abilities it's ready to use again.
I don't see what the big deal is that they nerfed it a little bit.
I use a destruction staff so I use wall of elements, sun fire or solar flare from dawns wrath skill line, spear shards or piercing javelin from aedric spear depending on the encounter. I switch skills with other skills from different skill lines as needed. That is why I didn't notice the change as much as someone who uses all abilities from just the aedric spear line.Jeremy_gelber_ESO wrote: »^Tootall2186 wrote: »Use your other utilities at our disposal to make up the dps difference. interesting seeing how jabs is locking other skills (even light attack) from being used. how exactly are you using 2 or 3 abilities in that lockout time.
Exactly. I do use mostly templar skills. I use one that isn't. I can see where it would be an issue as pure melee if it is locking you out of using any other ability. I didn't realize it was doing thatKhivas_Carrick wrote: »So.......notice a trend here? Everyone that's ok with these changes/not ok but are still playing are either using staffs or nontemplar skills.
Ggnore zos.

I have a roughly level 15 templar and it seems to me that the biggest things templars are missing is aoe. Dealing with 3 pack mobs are an issue, even with bitting jabs on the bar.
