I was getting the 301 and unexplained error crashes and was unable to play. I tried all the fixes and contacted support about the issue. Turning off the add-ons solved the problem. One of which was esohead.

i dont see any fix to Cyrodiil lag
and when the EU server move to the region for what we are paying a Subscription?

i know there are many thing to fixes, but pvp lag is absolutely a priority.

I disabled addons before the server reset and it fixed my problem, did the same thing after the reset and nada. It also doesnt work on other computers, even ones without mods.

Given that I'm capable of logging into the EU Megaserver without issue, I would hazard a guess it's a US Megaserver-side issue for me. (I've already done a complete wipe of ESO and a full reinstall. No addons, no ESOHead).

Steps to reproduce should be easy enough: log in, play game, unplug router cable, wait long enough for disconnection, reinsert router cable.

this is assuming that disconnection/timeouts during loading are the only cause, that is. But it seems likelyish: some people are particularly prone to them, which suggests that certain ISPs or routers have a problem with the blob of data being sent at zone-change time. We have a similar issue at my job, where bursty traffic tends to drop for some people during the bursts, not during the lulls.

The Rift crashed and I cannot log in past the character select screen.

Still blocked from login by 301 error. This morning's hotfix changed nothing for me.
I tried deleting addons and just about every other solution offered in the various threads about this. I think the only things I haven't tried are unsubbing (which has been said to allow some back in....if they were not just trolling, maybe something to do with the TOS acceptance) and "logging out" (seriously - even for a copy past response why is the first troubleshooting step to "I can't log in" a comment along the lines of "have you tried logging out?").
At this point even the friendly CS folks have given up and not responded to email in over 24 hours since my last response to their troubleshooting ideas (sent various log files they requested). The CS folks seem to be trying and were responding relatively fast up until the recent silence. I think they truly want to help, but they need someone on the code side of the fence to figure out how first....
Maybe those of us with login issues are a small minority, but it is still customers lost if a solution is found pretty soon.

Lol at anyone saying a sorc is a better raid healer than a Templar. Who cares about zone chat anyway? And yes I have cleared the archive in the 2nd dc group to do so, working on helra now.

regarding the 301 error, because i literally see no one else mentioning this after reading about 100 threads on it...

if you put in the incorrect password, the loading screen pings the servers almost immediately to tell you your password is wrong. so its not that the client isn't connecting imo, its something else. i don't know what that can do to help the tech guys figure it out, but maybe its something else to go on.

this information is probably useless to the us, the users, but imo it denotes something is in fact actually wrong client side like the CSRs are saying (as much as most of us don't want to believe that--i too have test pinged the server and seen nothing happen but it would really confuse me why the password is only checked client side--seems like a ridiculous way to devise security to me). maybe not, idk for sure. but i still think in times like these, all information helps to have.

Your rollbacks are getting worse. Three times today with most of my leveling wiped out each time.

The lag in PvP is unplayable at times and that is with an ever dwindling amount of PvPers. Disconnects and rollbacks here too.
