Stuck at the character load screen

I was playing the game just fine (a bit of lag here and there but nothing major) then all of a sudden the player select screen pops up. Since this happened I have been unable to log on. I get to the point of selecting the character and seeing "logging in..... Requesting character load" and it doesn't go past this point.

Any suggestions?

Same issue with my main. I put in a ticket and they told me to lower graphics settings and check addons. I logged into all my alt mules and lowered the settings and checked my addons but I still can't log in.

I was on the pvp map when it happened.

We shouldn't have to lower our graphics settings to account for their mistakes. Beta was over almost 2 months ago.

So you were able to log on noob accounts but not your main?

Actually I just checked my graphics setting and it has been set to medium this whole time......

No luck, turned off all add ons and lowered setting s to min and still cant load into my main that is stuck in Cyrodill. Im sure its still my computer or ISP though and not the game although I can log in fine on my other characters.

It has nothing to do with you, your settings or your computer. It is 100% on their end.

Everyone in Wabbajack (NA) and maybe all Cyrodiil servers crashed and now can't log into whatever character they have in Cyrodiil.

The Rift crashed while I was playing and I am stuck at character select as well.

Oh is that whats going on. Good to know thanks for the heads up.

This game is awesome don't get me wrong but things like this make me regret paying for 3 months in advance. Now I can't even use my main in the PVE and level it up. BUZZKILL!!!!!

Same for me. My main is in Rifton and I can't login on her. My alts are in Davon's Watch and I can login on them.

I'm stuck on loading screens in The Rift also. Got "An unknown error has occured" pop up message and logged me out. This was supposed to be fixed in yesterdays "Hot Fix" but clearly it wasn't. I've had so many issues today (5/28) I can hardly believe it. Please get it under control!!!

Well, looking up the error code on the post in the customer support thread, it says that connection to the "lobby" has failed. So that means, either there are way too many people trying to connect at the same time (which is highly unlikely considering the number of disgruntled customers who have already un-subbed) or your firewall might be keeping some component of the game from getting through.

Either way hope it gets fixed soon.

It is worth noting that those trying to log in to The Rift specifically may be able to do so at this time. However, if you are still having trouble accessing characters in that area, please let us know.

I am having trouble logging into my V4 templar in Malabal Tor, as well. my other characters (all lowbies) load fine.

Our entire clan was in Cyrodill and now none of us can log back into the game.
