So I've been adventuring, questing, and most of all EXPLORING like the devs pressed upon so much leading up the release of ESO. Here are some minor, and not so minor things I've noticed that might need to be (or maybe they already are being) addressed.

1. Group Dungeons/Public Dungeons - why don't they scale to my level? I swear I heard and read multiple accounts of it being mentioned that dungeons would scale to your level. I accidentally skipped a couple and had to go back for sky shards and got 0 for it except the acheivment and skyshard. It's not a huge deal, but a game built on questing and repeating dungeons with friends, it seems kinda pointless if my effort is all for some clear water and scraps I can gather from crates and urns.? I also only completed the group dungeons ONCE before I was nerfed to getting no 1g per enemy, no drops from bosses or anything. I get you don't want farmers to go ham, but is there a way to recognize that I'm not that type of player?

2. Bulletin Board Quest Rewards in Cyrodil - The first 4 or 5 rewards I got for completing the bulletin board missions were USELESS 10 levels below me, labeled 0 shock damage, and their pictures were red squares with a question mark, to boot when I equipped the item or armor it'd show up invisible (by removing the previous item and having underwear on even when the new reward item was equipped). This is kind of a big deal to me because it happened to me 4 or 5 times in a row, all from the bulletin boards for PVP stuff. I love the PVP aspect but if that's what im getting for it, Id rather grind solo.

3. The Quest to defeat Mannimarco has a suggested level to complete of 20 - I went in at 20 and got destroyed, came back at 26 and got destroyed as if nothing changed. In the death recap the mobs would hit me for 85-300 damage, but every time there was always one that did 1300+ and insta killed me, even if I was out of the way of the red circles, or behind cover, the attack would heat seek me like a rocket and destroy me. Is this normal, because Im not going to be able to handle this quest until Im close to 40 or higher, and it says I should be able to complete it in the 20's, as it stand Im now going to recieve 0 xp just to beat the main mission quest...kind of a bummer. I have a decent enough build, with fire resistance and all but it doesn't seem to make a difference. potions, heals, buffs seem ineffective.

4. Why are all the eyes of the dead in Cyrodil always opened? It's super creepy lol.

5. Still getting random loading screens just walking around from time to time.

6. The Audio for the game since the last patch has been very spotty, cutting in and out. Never had this issue before the patch so I assume it's got something to do with that.

7. I notice after using the Aoerdic Spears for the templar, that occasionally the animation of the spears will get stuck in your hands, and prevent you from using abilities or swapping weapon sets. Also messes with sprinting, and jumping sometimes, bringing up my character menu and minimizing it usually fixes it, but in a tense battle that might be costly.

8. Why do I get SOOOO much xp from lock picking, but fighting mobs even 5 levels below me, gets me 0. A Simple Lock shouldn't net me more than a lvl 20 monster when Im only a level 26, or should it? Seems a bit off to me, I wanna go fight and dungeon dive, but picking flowers and chest's seems to be more beneficial for my gold purse, and my skill points.


These are some things I feel could lead up to lots of frustration for less patient players, and I hope they are addressed sooner rather than later. I want to end this with the fact that I love this game, and have high hopes for it's future. I'll subscribe as long as I feel the Devs are trying to deliver us the best product, and I believe they've been trying diligently since it's release. Hope this helps you guys find some problems you might not have known about, or confirmed some suspicions you might have already had and good luck.

    Unfortunately the solo-instanced quests seem to be set at a much higher difficulty. Overleveling is certainly a valid tactic, but, I agree, ruins the prospect of getting experience and acquiring level-relevant gear. Many have suggested these instances to be groupable, or toned down, but that may not happen until so much else has been sorted.

    I would love for it to be groupable, I just love the story, and to be at a point where I literally have to be level 40 when ti recommends 20 is kinda crazy, I gotta wait weeks just to see what happens next cuz he's so OP. I looove the challenge, but leveling 6 or 7 times and seeing 0 difference in the turnout is demoralizing. It's good to know it's not just how crappy my character is though lol, although Im sure I need to improve drastically, which is evident from my results in this boss fight.
