Forums are depressing - I'm having fun, is anyone else having fun?

Yea it's a great game, if you don't enjoy it, then move on.Only butthurt immature school kids feel the need to try bring as many people down with them because the game is not their cup of tea.

Just leave and let us enjoy the game.

I'm having a lot of fun, as well.

Consider that it's an MMO - the forums will *always* be filled with whining, complaining and bile. Consider it psychotherapy for the WoW-generation MMOers. Would be even more fantastic if only they could read it, but I digress...

My game is playing well since the Craglorn patch but lots of people in my guild are having problems, which result in us not being able to group, especially for the trials. There's always someone can't log in or crashing or lagging or just needs to relog. The patch broke a lot of things for a significantly large enough percentage of players that it will impact almost everyone, even those who have no issues.

Don't worry op,you are not the only one having fun with this game.Forums are a little depressing but that's how mmo forums usually are.The qqer's are louder than the rest of us.

    jk.

OT: I am quite happy with the game too, just wish zos deal with these bugs faster... or at least really fix what they said in the patch note (mundus stone, skill refund etc.)

I love this game. Having a blast.

V12, lead a very successful guild and we all love it.

Frustrated about the horribly unbalanced endgame, but it hasn't dissuaded my love for the game.

Around 70% of my guild are leveling DKs so we can still keep playing and be competitive.

Did you read that Zenimax ? Can you see the problem here ?
So you need to nerf templars skill, that's what you get from that right ?

For me, the forums are actually far more entertaining than the game itself, and that wasn't the case early on. It's a damn shame because I was like so many of the devoted, defending the game and advertising it. And it now feels lackluster.

relaxed and settled ex-nolifer speaking. Now hardly semi-hardcore. But still pretty active and good at it.

I kept reading the forum since release and , I too, was kinda shocked by the general tone here... the overall quality of the game being so good I , at first, didn't get this "hate".
But the more time passed the more I started to feel some frustration - even if I wasn't contributing by the time - because of the ABSOLUTE absence of CMs...

You can read everything and its opposite in there... but NEVER will a CM pop-up and mention what are zenimax's state of mind considering very specifics mechanics...

They never cared to explain theire most criticized choices (be it fair or not fair critics).

Neither did they tell entitled forum warriors that they were wrong or right.

It's just a big FFA forum where players are free to say whatever goes through theire mind...

And then, (how fast depends the type of player you are) you meet the limitations of the game : easy endgame PvE with no replayability - weird class balancing - lag- bots...

When you get there you naturally search for answers like "when is it going to be fixed ?" "why ?" "are this or this intended mechanics ?" "what's next ?" ... and here you go... You just discovered the "behind the scene" witch is... nothing...waloo... nada... le néant absolu.

and TADAM : myriads of infuriated frustrated customers... who I recently joined ;) If I was 10 years younger and still the nolife I used to be... I'd been gone reaaaaaally much faster !

Absolutely having fun until now, I'm leveling a crafter alt while with my main I'm playing together with one friend and really enjoying that. I suppose I'm having fun because I'm taking the game slowly without burning trough content and expecting to be able to craft legendary equip or drop legendary loot after three weeks in the game. "Endgame" with all his "problems" is still relatively far for me, so I do not have worries for now. Hope that when finally I will hit V-levels all the "issues" will have been addressed, if not I will freeze the sub and wait that things stabilize, no big deal.
Only concern until now that is ruining my experience and enjoyment is the massive presence of bots.

    Loving every minute.

S+B DK v5 . Yes I was nerfed and yes I found another way to kill things

Love everything about the game from the graphics, quests and story, group dynamics and especially the dual spec switch mechanic . I switch between tank and bow and it is awesome. I'm in a good guild doing Craiglorn grinding and loving it

The game is awesome, I really love the pve there are some great stories unfolding and the combat and overall look/feel is the best of any mmo I have played. In theory I like the pvp, but in practise it just doesn't do it for me (and I mainly pvp in other mmos).

Despite that, a lot of the criticism about the game is valid, its just that for me the good points vastly outweigh the bad, at least through the levelling/story content.

This is an honest advice, if you find the forums depressing and are enjoying the game, get the hell outta here! ;)

There's quite a few problems with ESO and should you find it hard to cope with this and/or personally haven't experienced much of those, it's probably just best to stay away and in-game. All this 'negativity' here is just due to people voicing their concerns and it should never get to you, afterall most are just trying to make it a better experience for everyone.

If the game itself doesn't spoil your fun, neither should the boards. So yep, I am entertained playing this game. But it could be a lot better and has to get better, nonetheless.

Concerns???? It is a bunch of low tier players complaining because they are to stupid to understand why they suck and due to this ignorance and lack of ability whine to break the game in their favor.

The forums are pathetic. You can tell the bottom feeders when they post "if I was this class the game would be fun".

My fiance and I are having alot of fun. We just hit VR1 couple of days ago. Love the PVE aspect. All the bugs, NB bugs especially, I have a good taste of it. I tried not to QQ on here but from time to time give my honest opinion or two. I never PVP in WoW but to my surprise, I love the PvP in this games. Alot of things that annoys me (like constant crash and abilities unable to execute during the fight) but its still fun. Love it.

NB here - having fun until there is a forced solo boss where I have to wait until I am 5 levels above the boss -or- I get my ass kicked by 3-4 trash mobs 3 levels under me because the mobs spawn on top of me during an encounter or other event -or- public dungeons designed specifically to make stealth totally useless.

Which boss was that? I haven't met any solo boss that I couldn't overcome by adapting my strategy on my NB.

Absolutely. Beth use amateur volunteers who play the game as mods. Sure they are arbitrary, biased and sometimes ruthless, but they are human and know the game. ZOS is automated corporate nice speak. Guaranteed reaction as Europe discovered in elections this week.

I am having fun, sort of, at VR2 right now; doesn't mean that there aren't problems.

Melee seems not viable currently. I gave up trying to solo with 1h/shield; I don't seem to have either the survivability to outlast the mobs, or the damage to take them down while still having hitpoints. I've moved to 2h, which is slightly better, and am trying to work through levelling up the skill. I have no interest in anything other than heavy armor, and don't want to be a caster.

I didn't make a character like this expecting to kill everything the fastest. I did make a character like this intending to only use wayshrines for fast travel. So far this second part is not working, and I don't know how long my interest will last if the game gets significantly harder.

I can't take down a three mob spawn with any confidence if one of them's a caster, healer, or archer, at least not unless an ultimate is up. On spawns like that, my usual strategy is to find away around them. If not, then wait until somebody else bounces through and aggros them. It would be nice to have a snipe or something that doesn't pull them all for situations like that.

A lot will depend on how big a buff melee gets over the next several weeks. I'd rather soldier on with an ineffective character in a disfavored play style; as I see it things can only get better.

VR5 and having fun. I know NBs will be having a lot more fun soon. NBs check patch notes and the known issue threads that they are working on. Lots of nice stuff coming. Not sure about Templars... I have seen some blow past me face rolling but not sure what build(s) they were using. I almost guarantee they were probably rolling with at least the Warlock set. 1 Amulet and 2 Rings myself.

Something has me hooked at V1 and realizing the painful decrease in experience progress I have shifted to sniffing around exploring missed areas and stopping to smell the roses that I may have rushed past

I too get bored usually before the first sub, but not this time

However .. and is this a bad thing? .. after I hit V1, I no longer felt guilty not logging in at least once a day. Now if a couple of days go by, I don't feel like I'm falling behind.

I've loved this game since the first beta "stress" test I was invited to, and I haven't been able to turn that love off. There's so much I've done, and it's very much overshadowed by the things I still want to do. I'm looking forward to playing this game for quite awhile.

Forums though? Bah, stupid forum trolls won't rest until they've wept a river of cold, slimy sorrow deep enough to wash away everything anyone likes about anything. Disgusting really.
