Lag Lag & More Lag [NA]

I tried to PvP yesterday and today, but lag comes out of nowhere.
The server is bipolar..
Server: "I want to lag for a second, no wait... no I don't."
Me: "Oh thank goodness it's gone.."
Server: "Never mind now I do want to lag."
Me: *Logs out.*
But seriously, it's unbearable sometimes. I'll be fine one second then the next it's insanely terrible.
I checked my router settings and did a speed test every time I encountered this issue. Always comes back 100% good. I am the only one using this ISP and it's secure.
Then I decided to ask around and it seems that everyone is experiencing this instability.
!IMPORTANT! I speak for the ENTIRE player base when I say, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.
I can't currently feel satisfied PvPing with this going on.

You DO NOT SPEAK for the ENTIRE player base. I personally do not allow you to speak on my behalf. None elected you.
I have no lag. I play from England on EU server with 4mbit normal ADSL line in a rural area.
I have friends from Germany they have no issues either. However other friends playing from Greece or Poland do have lag.
Given that I play multiplayer games since 1997, is always down to ISP and their connections to the US.

✭The NA server has been having ability lag since about 10am yesterday, May 28th. It's now 1am May 29th and it's still ongoing with no response from ZoS that I've found. The lag we're experiencing is with actions not the environment. Meaning, when you go to click on something your character just stands there for a good 5-20 seconds not moving and then decides to harvest the node, talk to the banker, mount his/her horse, use the WS, etc. This isn't the normal lag where as you run through a zone the screen is shaky and it's OBVIOUS there's lag.
In response to the guy above, you're not remotely correct, it is NOT our ISP's that are causing this ability lag it's server side. This has happened before on the NA server and it took ZoS about a day to fix it, the other time it was much worse than it is right now, although it's pretty much unplayable right now for many people. And they gave all of the NA players 5 days of play time from how bad it was the last time.1 -

cmdrwayneb14a_ESOSoul ShrivenNA server, past few days been lag city, joining large group big lag, going into decent size battle big lag. Decided to go try wabbajack, holy hell everyone's bitching, and lag is insane. I want to go back to the server I was on, less lag there.

✭Yey, the ability lag is now so bad I can't even log out of the game to restart it in hopes to actually talk to an NPC or craft anything, hell I can't even mount my character just stands there, woot!2 -
The EU servers aren't doing any better than the US servers are. You have the high ping to start with and then you get ridiculous rubberbanding if you go to a spot on the map where a lot of people are (e.g. a keep under attack). Not seeing your own or other peoples spells is another issue but probably connected to the lag in some way.0

netsike✭✭✭I lag so badly, that everytime a fight starts I'm like "Yea, let's rock!" I run forward, everything stops around me for 10s and when the lag disappears, I'm laying there dead. I love to PvP like this...NOT!1 -

✭So after today's maintenance I see that the ability lag problem is only slightly better. I have about a 50% chance when using a WS that anything happens, and if I log from one character to another sometimes I can't get back in, other times I can't even log out, good times. This has been going for 2 days now, I REALLY hope ZoS fixes it.0 -

✭Another issue I'm finding with this ability lag (as I'm calling it) is after 20-30 minutes of being in game (not play time because I can't actually do quests right now) I get to the point that nothing happens and I have to exit the game manually and restart it. I'm starting to wonder if this is the memory leak problem they've had since 1.1.2 went live. When I log in it's start out reasonably ok, I can interact with NPCs and object but as the minutes go it gets progressively worse until nothing works. I've shot a ticket up about it, haven't even gotten the auto response yet so they must be seriously bogged down right now due to all the problems 1.1.2 caused.1 -
