Loss of Audio After Patch

Hello everyone,

I just finished downloading the update, when I hit play and the ZOS stuff pops up there is audio just fine, but once in game there is absolutely no sound at all. All volume settings in game are default, my computer's volume is 80% and my headset is also adjusted accordingly. I was having no issues yesterday.

Has anyone else encountered this? Anyone have a fix for it?

I also experienced some intermittent loss of audio. Mine occurred in the background music at the loading screen both loading the game, traveling between zones and in/out of instances.

I got intermittent audio loss as well when first loading and some weird flickering so I took it out of full screen mode. Seemed to work but maybe it was just logging out/in that did it. Haven't tried going back to it yet.

Not having audio loss so much as my horses footsteps are incredibly loud and too much base? they're weird sounding, especially on dirt.

Multiple times, even restarted my PC. It's not intermittent for me it's completely out after the ZOS/Bethesda logo. Kind of frustrating as I can't stand not having any sound.

Audio issues are usually corrected with a repair operation. Use the setting icon in the news section of the launcher. You'll probably end up with a large download to correct what it finds.

Just thought I'd give a quick update now that I have the time. Running the repair op worked perfectly! All in game sounds are back. Thank you for the advice.

Since latest patch my sound has started going out/switching to low volume at character screen. Sometimes it happens after I have been playing for a while. I've tried repair but still happening. Turned off addons and voip, but no change. It's really starting to get frustrating.
