You will absolutely, positively go out of business if the lag (esp in PvP) is not fixed within the next week or so.
Would appreciate some acknowledgement from ZoS staff on this.

✭the lag is pretty bad on wabbjack. things like abilities casting 5 to 10 seconds later (not exagerating) and many other issues
its a legitimate complaint just maybe not presented well.3 -

Try to reduce setting, it should be separate settings for PvP.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

As already stated, any PvP campaign with activity (not the empty campaigns) produce so much lag (server-side, not client-side) that the game is unplayable.
From 5-10 second server-side lag makes PvP impossible, and even PvE within Cyrodiil is impossible (you die to a guard or a wolf you never saw because your screen didn't update).
This latency spikes and recedes in a loop. Players (all players in the Campaign) get a spike which lasts between 30-seconds to a minute (the latency is, as mentioned, 5-10 seconds during this period). Then it will disappear for anywhere from 2-10 minutes, then reoccur again, continually. The more players in the Campaign, the more frequently this occurs.
At peak periods, players will crash to login or desktop due to this, and over the weekend, the entire Wabbajack Campaign crashed and rolled back approximately 1-2 minutes, and all players were kicked to desktop.
This is reproducible.
1. Log into the live environment (in my case, NA server)
2. Enter PvP in a campaign where each faction is at least medium population (2 bars on the population indicator)
That is all you need to reproduce this issue. PC specs, internet connection speeds, etc. are all irrelevant, as it happens to all players in that campaign (just observe Zone chat).5 -

-It happens on and off
-I often have 2-5 second delay at all times in PVP with 5 or more people in close proximity. It has been happening fairly often in PVE since 1.1.2. It only seems like certain areas of certain zones, however. Sometimes I ask people near me when I'm lagging real bad if they are too (in PVE) and more often than not, they are. Not sure if the whole zone gets hit with it or just specific areas. It seems like just specific areas because it seems when I move on to next quest, the lag is gone.

Aeaeren✭✭✭Yup the Lag is horrid and does cause a lot of frustration and screaming. If not too many people it can be a lot of fun but once the numbers roll up it becomes way to much lag and crashes a lot.Edited by Aeaeren on May 27, 2014 2:00PM0

Well, I wanted some PVP yesterday and i got it - only problem, that it was "oldschool" EvE Online null sec large scale battle way of PVP - everlasting lag, everything is frozen, one weapon action per minute, chat functions only for guild but not for zone, you have no idea, if you are alive or dead.
Well - add time dilation and we are ready to go

I cannot speak for everyone, but the people i play and played with, real life friends, noobs, pros, all they had lag.
THEY WILL lose alot of players if there is no ETA on the move from the EU server.0 -

Yes, eventually they will potentially lose the entire EU community... This type of combat system isn't as forgivable as EQ1/2 or WoW in terms of a wee bit of lag getting you killed.

Yes but there's lots of PvE in that map as well. I was there yesterday for a few hours trying to get lorebooks and skyshards and the lag was unbearable at times.
And I didn't do *any* combat. Just things like talking to NPCs or opening doors sometimes took up to 5 seconds.
I finally left because of this.

Bolsh✭✭Not gonna lie wabajack has been pretty bad lately I know its not me personally we have a pretty diverse group of players on our small gang pvp guild.. Canada, Central, western and eastern US states.. All of us lag at the same time huge lag spikes in PvP on Wabajack primarily.. Other empty campaigns seem fine almost like the servers can't handle the amount of players/action on waba...?1

Argolo✭I'm playing on the EU megaserver from Germany. I have an internet connection via cable with about 32 mbit down-, 2 mbit upstream and an usual latency of 20-40 ms within the EU. My latency to Servers on the east coast of the US is usually something around 120-140 ms (150-190 ms to the ESO servers at this moment). That's "OK" but when it comes to smaller latency spikes in the evening or on weekends, combat becomes rather frustatrating, specially on veteran ranks. My grip on abillities becomes rather loose and attempts evade AoE-Spells from enemies fail in most of the cases. LOL OP was being slightly sarcastic when he meant the week comment but I like Doom Threads they are fun to watch.
As for the serious note on the OP comment there is a lot of lag both in terms of PvP (I am a competent PvP player but when I can't move or see what shooting me with rubber banding I cannot defend myself or doing anything offensive lol)
Lag exists in large groups too but keeping it capped at like 8 sometimes 12 on a low pop area is ok
I do think this is going to get sorted at some point as people have pointed out its server load. They'll expand their servers and it'll get better
