can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

I'm not sure logging into the EU server will have any bearing on the NA server. I'm inclined to think not. The two are so independent you need to install the game twice just get access to both. The client connects to one server at a time, don't see why one server needs to know anything about another (let alone who is logged in where).

Edit: Besides, databases usually contain data not state. Just because the two servers access the same database doesn't mean they share the same state.

Nevertheless, if anyone else has success, please confirm it here.

That's what I did, I had no characters on the EU server before - it didn't work for me.

dang.. sry about that then..

Things i tried before:
1. Rename live folder.
2. Reset Password
3. Install EU client
4. Create Character
5. Install NA Client on C Drive (Windows 7) ..sometimes UAC acts up on some file writing premissions. So I did not want to take any chances. And installed my Main Client on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online " which is the default one.
6. Oh and yes i unsubscribed :P to see if that wakes up the Database to do something ...like set some timer to my account which would probably cause it perform checks and unlock probably.

Well...those were all the things that I did to trigger some sort of Database script which would unlock my account from being logged in to logged out.

I think , the server will call for the Stored Procedures that do the Login script which could be a Http Servlet script.
If the Script that accesses the Database Stored Procedures knows that a person is already logged in , it would not allow another login .... OR ... it would log off the previous one and let the new one go through.
So when a NA server thinks that you are logged in, and then you login to EU server, there MUST be a mechanism in the Database "Scripts like things" called Stored Procedures, to not allow players to Simultaneously log in to two different servers at the same time.

Also, i did not want to be all that technical..as I don't want to sound geeky :P

Hence my conclusion on why I am able to play after a EU login.
But since no one has yet confirmed if this solution worked for them, then I guess it is not as simple as that.

Side Note: Anyone who finds that my previously mentioned solution worked for them please let everyone know.

Side Note2: Server Restarts will most probably fix it due to the Session Cache being cleared. So you could just watch a movie tonite and wait for the server restart tomorrow.

I tried this already 2 days before and it was not working for me, on the second - NA - I was able to play, I created also a character and played the turotial, but after this I was still not able to log in on my home - EU - server... Edit - tried it now and still not working... Time out every time, now I have no 301 , just timeout... for me it is now 2+ days, for some players 4+ days...

So, now I am able to log in, but I have a bad feel, that it will be OK till I got a force close of the game, because we received no updates for the client...

I hope it will be not by this way...

Yep, logins are now working again. But have they fixed the bug that caused them in the first place? Is this going to happen again on an unexpected disconnect?

Ive been telling those CS's the same thing all the time. REstart the d a m n server...now after 2 days they do it and it fixes the issues.

Zenimax:
1. Check Session Caches
2. Check Database script logic which sets Login Status of Accounts.
3. Make a Login Queue so that people know they are in queue.. meaning no Timeouts and players know it is working. Every MMO has it..why not for us !
4. Make sure the script that Checks for Sessions also refreshes the Login Status every few minutes.
5. Create a Button to Reset Accounts for the poor CS guys so people are stuck can be "Unstuck" by a click of a button.

If you have a /stuck command in the client for players, make one for the Server Side too for the Customer Support people.

Players: DO NOT CLOSE the client by any of these methods.
1. ALT+ F4
2. Leaving your computer to IDLE and it auto logs off but also you get Stuck!
3. Dont click the Quit button either.. it creates the same problem. At least i could regenerate that.
Log off in a proper fashion ..click the Log off button and wait. Then click back when in character select screen.
If you follow this , you won't get stuck at login.

Zenimax will need a week to fix this issue..until then don't put ur feet on the Axe like I did when i left my PC to IDLE and it got stuck !
Well thats what i think.. maybe right ..maybe wrong. Not taking chances anymore now.
Lost the Entire Weekend..and now going to get some sleep ..work day tomorrow

It's all speculation unless you have some insider knowledge about how their systems work. I don't, so I prefer not to speculate.

Well, put in my password and got past the "requesting login" screen....now cycling on the screen that should get me to my char select screen....I'll post/comment back when/if I actually get to the character select screen and can actually get into the game....

Edit: Was able to get in game....YAY! Nice to see that it works....for now....hoping and praying it stays fixed....thanks....

As of an hour ago I could log back into my game after 3 days. I can play the game but have been logged out from the game 4 times now due to unknown errors. Anyone else experiencing this?

Welp....I just no got this problem. I crashed, and I can't seem to log in. I'm getting persistent 301s and Log in Timeout crap.......

sigh....sent a ticket...let's see what CS can do...I guess. I'm not very confident. T_T

As I thought...it was just a temporary fix, so the stucked players can play again, but the problem is not solved. If the game crashes, you still have the chance to "float" between logged in and logged off status.

haha yeah, after reset I can log in. Only to get one of those constant load screens... too afraid to alt f4 incase my account gets stuck in limbo again:P

I can log in again now. Hopefully they fix this for good soon, it's not fun knowing that I can just be randomly locked out of the game for indeterminate amounts of time.

I'm able to log into the game now as well after three days of error 301. I hope they have a fix for this in the works so it doesn't become routine any time the game crashes.

Just curious about how long it could be for me as well.

I was "timeout and 301"ing for about 58 hours or so, from Friday evening until the server reboot. It wasn't the wait, it was the server reboot that fixed me, but obviously the bug that triggers it is still present.
