I also used the in-game cs ticket submission as well, but just a heads up, I just tested the mobs/monsters in Bangkorai and the recent 'rollback' to the hp increase/damage output increase to pre 1.1.2 did not take. They are still not fixed. I just tested several mobs and decided to also pick up some quests that I had not completed waiting for this fix... as they were impossible to complete. Please QA the fixes before sending it out saying it's fixed....it's not fixed at least where I have tested.

I am not going to be an apologist, but I am sure you guys have your hands very full and doing the best you humanly can at the moment in the ZoS offices, however there is a limit. Your paying and 'becoming less loyal' community of players, as each day and each patch progresses, are getting tired of paying to play your product broken and having to punish themselves and play through, test, and report the fixes FOR YOU. Even the most staunch and loyal customers and even fan boys all have their limits. When the balance of frustration, stress, anxiety, anger, disgust, disappointment, etc. etc. etc. far exceed the fun, pleasure, enjoyment, entertainment value, etc. etc. etc. that one is here to experience...it's time to do a 'Reborn' like that other game we know about from Asia, ZoS Team. The negative that has haunted this game for so long has been the worst I have seen in a decade of gaming and I have seen some nasty things take place with many title launches.

We all want your baby to succeed as much as you do, but there is a line where enough is enough and this project was painfully rushed and pushed out extremely too soon. It's really unfair to your loyal fan base and to the general gamer as well to have plopped this very 'unpolished for release' product onto the market. I know there is still a good number of players willing to seed this baby through this crisis if it gets even worse than all we have seen so far. But again, that's not fair to your community and its not realistic to expect that from customers at this state of game.

Unfortunately this isn't solely just a finger point at ZoS exclusively...this quite apparently has become the 'state of the norm' in the industry today, even from the most well known and trusted developers and titles. This saddens me and breaks my heart, as a decade long veteran mmo player, to see where we have ended up in gaming as a whole in 2014. I am at a point that I never thought would happen, as I have been heavily debating to walk away from mmos for several years to see if the industry gets its act together, if not permanently. I am not the only one that feels like this either...this is a discussion that has been going on for some time now with many players, guild mates, friends, etc that are fed up, and it's time to walk away and that means no longer supporting you and your projects unfortunately.

ESO was in fact, for many of us, our last hope dangling on that thin remaining thread for mmos to keep us holding on, and it has snapped with ESO. I hope all the dev's in the industry finally decide to learn their lessons and get back to basics...you can do better.

Hi Tristan, yes I have been in the region north of Evermore(Bangkorai), and making my way through Murcien's Hamlet as I write this. I wish I had a screenshot of the death recap to show you from this initial incident, however the game glitched on me and said I was dead yet I was not yet dead and then the game crashed on me and had to relog to get control back of my char. If I continue to encounter this I will post a screenshot for you of the death recap.

Apologies if i'm hi-jacking but maybe this applies to the issue I have in the Septima Tharn quest in Bangkorai. It is the "normal" quest (non-vet) yet there are two Septimas doing uninterruptable, undodgable, LOS-immune 260 hp zaps every second.

Is there any official word that is intended or is it a case of someone misplacing a decimal point?

Yes, as I test it more, it seems so far some are where there were before and others are not. Haven't tried mudcrabs lol, but I am killing Dark Witness mobs right now so far and getting owned by 2-3 that I could take before with out feeling like I am getting squeeze played til I die in 3 hits. I know this much, without seeing numbers...I have never had a 'Throw Dagger' skill from an npc take 1/3 or more of my hp for about 800 damage. Something is still off, and unfortunately I don't have an actual way to compare the real time damage numbers from pre 1.1.2 and after the patch cause the death recap only exists now post patch. But, you definitely know when mobs you killed before are now owning you when they didn't before.

In addition we'd like to mention that we are discussing ways to make Death Recap more clear. Currently, it's adding all damage from certain abilities, such as DoTs, into a single value. This makes it look as if some monster abilities are hitting for far greater in one hit than they actually are.

We'll continue to monitor the VR mob difficulty, and appreciate your patience!

[Edit]So that our Dev Team can investigate as specifically as possible, do you mind letting us know a few of the specific creatures that are hitting too hard?

Update, the irony, the Elite quest boss Sir Etienne in Murcien's was actually right where it should be for these types of mobs as it was pre patch. But, those 'normal' mobs outside in the area are like fighting mini-elite bosses...so those definitely are out of whack in damage. I just saw some poor guy have to run off 2 normal mobs and he is at level for Bangkorai.
So basically the normal mobs are more a threat than the actual elite mob. "It's like the whole world has gone topsy-turvy".....Sorry, Harry Potter line reference =P

For me, I noticed today that most of the different types of V2 Zombies/Plague Victims in Deshaan seem to be hitting as if they are stuck pre-hotfix. I've currently managed to struggle my way up to the quests that bring you into Mournhold, and any time that I've run into a quest involving Zombies I see them hit me for 20-25% of my life per white melee hit. It's more or less impossible for me to take on two of them at the same time, even with two healing abilities slotted(Green Dragon Blood and Inhale with the stun morph).

Another update, still in Bangkorai...moved onto another region of the zone where I had a quest I held off on....so yeah got a death recap this time...and none of this was a dot and this was spammed at me by 2 normal mobs literally all within 2 seconds. This kind of high damage spam combat with mobs definitely didn't happen to me pre-patch & is occurring post hot fix.

Also, btw...I am V10 in full V10 legendary gear and weapons...all of it is fully repaired and I do actively roll/block/move. I know this game doesn't work off hard gear dependence, but I feel like I am not even wearing anything at all...like I am just eating raw damage all the time.

The difference from before the patch to now for me has made it totally impossible to continue any solo questing without totally redoing my build. I am/was a nerfed V3 Templar using biting jabs and Bashes. At the sight of 2 mudcrabs you turned me into a screaming little wimp.

Thanks ZoS! Now please tell me what I should use for skills to play YOUR game YOUR way? You broke my way - please tell me what I should try next?

While most mob toughness seem to be fairly normal (except those mobs that havent died since friday), I'm still seeing some random insane damage and healers that are pretty much impossible to kill unless you got your ultimate up constantly. Seriously, every 6 second or so they heal up 25% HP every 0.3s for 4 seconds. You cant outdps it, if you still got stamina/magicka you can just barely interrupt it at the second or third tick (in which case they've healed back up 50-75% HP) unless you got an inhuman reaction time. They're like bloody mini-Doshias. Combine this with 2 more mobs around you doing alot of damage and the fights are... frustrating to say the least.

I find the death recap extremely funny... Yeah so I didnt dodge. If I had dodged, the healer I was trying to nuke down would have gone from 20% to 100% HP before I even got my footing again. So no ZOS, I didnt have time to *** dodge the 1000 dps AoE from the 2 archers.

Well, for me, moving to VR 10 zone has made me able to play. The mobs there are about 1/100th the difficulty of VR 7 zone (EP).

Not that I wasn't able to play, in VR 7. But after accidentally seeing how easy the VR 10 mobs are I decided that getting ganked by 3 mobs one lvl below me was not worth my time for routine quests.

They should have rebooted when they applied this hotfix instead of trying to save face with the non-VR players.

    Hey there. Hey @ZOS_TristanK
I totally agree with the Topic and sign this for 100%.
I didnt had problems in the Vet Zones. Or atleast, nothing feld "to easy" or "too hard". Some things where challenging and i safed Bankorai for the content patch since i thought one Area for 2 Levels won't be enough. Right after the Craglorn patch arrived i jumped into Bankorai and i die all the time or barely survive. I have never been affected by things beeing to hard and where allways scared that things might be to easy. I usually thought the balancing is quite well.

For now, it fels frustrating. I'm totaly fine with the difficulty inside the trials and the Craglorn Map. But i totally do not like to Solo Quest at all at the moment.
After i read the Forum and noticed the Change which supposed to be made, i came back to Bankorai. Arround 4-5 times a day since launch and i allways died within the first 3 or 4 mop groups.

I've just started to having fun right before the launch and i where excited for the highly praised content update.

The Trials has been fun if you don't judge how long it takes to get your members in to your group without losing your leader to invite people ,,, or the disconnects when someone zones into the Dungeon... or the disconnects which counts as deaths because people get kicked out... or the teleport bug, which just forces the entire group in the middle of the trials to start all over again....

Besides the Trials, i havent seen much of the craglorn content. I've been invited to farm one stupid boss the whole time coz "its the easyiest way to level". And if i think i don't want to farm one single boss the whole time, ill get pissed off when i'm standing arround for 1,5 seconds (or so) while monsters hit me like a truck while using the main damage spell of the templar.

Besides the basics, i'm following the Forum and dev tracker just every few hours.I guess i will never understand, why people start releasing and obvioesly immature content update without having most of the issues been solved before.
I won't understand the facts, you are balancing some class related spells with a brain like an ant and a higher priority then other issues.. (Even my interns whould have noticed, a 1,2-1,5 delay after a spell whould be a totally dissatisfied solotion. It basically feels like a 600 ping)
The only reason of the PTS ive seen (i had access to it too!) where just commercial related. Atleast it feld that way, because i personally reportet main issues their, and every single one has been implemented live.

Untill now, i have been a very calm customer which allways said: "Ah well. Most of the Problems are getting solved soon or has been solved .. just wait and see. If something bothers you, just try to avoid it. Move to another Quest and come back later. Relax and take it easy. Its a beautiful world. Even the 10 Skill fighting system didnt bothered me that much, even i liked games with much more usable skills and the possibity of long chains though...

BUT .. you guys are messing up.
No one (!!) of my friends, who just made me playing this game and highly expected that game much more then me, are left and returned to their old Game or stopped playing. I'm inside 2 /5 active community Guilds and wherever i went on his TeamSpeak, i get confronted by the same dissatisfaction.
I have 42 Days of my Account left because (lucky for you!) your billing system chaos forced me to buy a 2 months Gametimecard before using the free 30 days.
(I'm not complaining about this, but i am complaining about the recent Issues which i'm having with the game since the last patch, which are slowly destroying the fun i had. But its also an explanation for why i am still playing.)

I hope words like this (and the creator if this thread) are getting an Ear.

    So far, ~Celurian

Well got another update and death recap....from normal V10 goblins in Qharroa Ruins...where the Gargoyles are, for the Save Stibbons quest where he was turned to stone with Lady Laurent.

Ok, so now this broken post patch, allegedly hot-fixed, OP mobs issue is not even angering anymore...it's crossed over into down right stupidly funny watching it unfold. Just sitting back watching as I and others around me getting owned squared lol... by normals.

Ignore the Gargoyle's damage, which ironically was an elite, and just look at the one normal mob Cragkin Witch's hit lol...ohh man ZoS you guys are something else lol. I'm gonna just move on from Bangkorai for now...there is a server hard reboot over night in the early am hours. Hopefully, with any fixes, this will once and for all resolve this among many other issues.

I don't have specific names, but I can tell you that spell casters in particular are hitting way too hard compared to non-caster counterparts. Its to the point that if there are 2 enemies I can probably take then but it will be though if there's a caster... If there are 3 and one or more is a caster they kill me almost every time.

Its not just the special abilities that hit too hard either, their basic attack, which isn't avoidable, is far too damaging.

Ranged single-target combat absolutely, and yes I'm sad about that to (might stop the bow stam in PvP if they had to aim and predict). Melee is still reasonably action oriented though (though I guess there's still tab targeting).
