[BUG] Sadals Final Defeat quest broken

The ward that would allow me to enter the tunnel never shows up as a usable item. After the long scene with the guys walking to the ward it is supposed to turn clickable but for me it never does. Its terribly irritating and I have tried abandoning the quest, logging in/out, quitting/reloading, etc. This was a problem before, judging from some of the older forum posts on this broken quest. Seems that it is back.

BUMP!

Guys, common now! I finished entire faction, am VR5 and waiting to start Daggerfall. I cant because I dont have this finished and all because this ward stone is not showing its activate key! This is the 2nd message I have posted on this...

I bet this was done by the *** bug that shortened the "USE" command range TO HALF. Also makes looting containers really hard, activating small items even harder, and not it blocked a door in main quest of Alik'r. NICE..

Why do they even pump out a patch that destroys half game, WITHOUT TESTING IT?

- even to "fix" a mild soul trap exploit, your spells now refuse to work if you by any chance are pointing at a critter (good luck healing in dungs)

Submitted a ticket, spent 15 minutes on hold with customer support before hanging up. Offered players in the zone 5000 gold if someone could group up and get me past the wardstone... not sure what else you guys want me to try here....4

Praise the Lord! I got a few folks try to group up with me. The last one worked with the other guy as group leader and me joining the zone after he activated the ward. Terrible bug, cost me about 6 hours.... Caldwell here I come!
