ShuRun✭✭I have the same, No, identical issue after grinding with my guildies last night in the same place. As we walked out of the dungeon - my game client crashed and i couldn't get back in the game. Now it says my account was suspended. What for? Send it the email and already on hold for 1 hr 11 min.
- Also,eso has to understand that SOME player will respond similar to bots in order to progress in game faster. In first 5-6 days i maxed all crafting but enchanting lagged due to lack of the rune nodes. Similar to bots I made 6 chars and placed em next to the node spawns in Coldharbor. What else can I do when there are no runes to be had for crafting? With 6 chars I log to all every 20-30 min - collect runes and even if i die -lvl 3-4 don't need souls to rez. I did get a contact from the grandmaster in game and it all resolved. But why ban people for killing the boss over and over? Or does eso wants us to walk ONLY along the pass the developers intended - like the main quest line?
- I have to suggest that it is kinda idiotic to do the same quests twice ( like i did for my second vr+ char) but doing the same quests for 3rd, 4th -really does not add to the enjoyment of the game but makes us do the same grinding but ESO style, with quests. I understand that quest grinding is slower and thus provides more monthly revenue to the Zenimax. Maybe thats why we are banned for speed leveling, cos we didn't pay enough or not going to play along the path creative directors are established for us.

I agree. I think the minor inconvenience of having to contact Zeni to get your account unsuspended is more than made up for by the (hopefully) thousands of bot accounts that will be permanently banned.
An opinion that will, of course, last as long as it only happens to others.

It has been confirmed by devs that repeatedly killing bosses is not exploiting. Like the dungeon farming.. Yea, not an exploit.. GG try again later.. If you are using 3rd party software to do it, yes.. Exploit..

I agree with you, but I would like to agree with him as well.
Problem is ZOS taking like 5 days to unban innocent people in many cases.0 -

The patch addressed the problems in the game and the respawn times were coded and programmed by the game developers. We all play level field and alter our ingame behaviour within the parameters set by eso. If eso does not want us to kill bosses over and over they reduce xp or reduce the loot, or change spawn times. If there is a bug in the game - it is unknown to the players. I never seen the respawn times posted for specific bosses or crafting mats nodes. Maybe it should be done in game and every boss should have a posted respawn time next to him/her. This way we can time the actual respawn time with posted time and see if it is a bug and report it - Or exploit it knowngly and pay the price by "eating a banana".THAT was not grinding, that was EXPLOITING a bug. DrywFiltiarn✭✭✭Getting unrightfully suspended doesn't say much to me if I have to be honest. I've been playing WoW for years as has my girlfriend and we got banned there often enough, after contacting blizz, they got us recovered again, stating it was an error and there was no reason for us being banned.
Players getting banned for no reason or by accident happens, especially when detection systems are on place to monitor cheating, etc. happens all the time in many games.
The only issue I have with this situation is that it appears to cost a lot of time to get the account reactivated when it happens. For that ZOS's CS may be blamed, for not acting faster and taking proper action for the people that got suspended.Edited by DrywFiltiarn on May 24, 2014 3:16PM2 -

When I try to log into the game it says : Login Error - Your login info was incorrect. - When i try to view account on the website it says : You have been suspended from this site.
I am on hold on the phone for 2 hrs 18 min already, cmon.1 -

Hello there. Have you been to this instance in particular? The boss doest not respawn automatically. You have to kill tons of trash mobs to get an unique item that summons that boss. What we did was killing those mobs, summoning the boss around 5-6 times (every member of the party could get 1 or 2 stones), leaving the instance and repeating the process. How is that exploiting?

Do you even know what the grind is? There are three summoning places where you can summon bosses. You need stones to summon them, to get stones you need to kill mobs, you can get anywhere between 0 to 20 stones per run, average might be 8 stones.
This is all currently according to what they added to the dungeon, no work around no exploit is added, no bug is abused. This is the same as farming experience or gold by killing the same mobs over and over again.
They might nerf the dungeon, but nerfing something isn't the same as something being bugged, its the same as something being too good. This is a good farming place, might be too good but thats all it is. No Bug, No Exploit, No Abuse.1 -

Beesting✭✭✭✭To add to my post, this i my first mmo and i thought it was normal to farm bosses and stuff, from what i heard about WoW.
But when i found out after two weeks of playing after work, that in ESO it is only allowed for the speedlevelers that get to new content first, and then nerved for the rest of us, i changed my mind.
I think you do know that if you take advantage of something that is to good to be true and wont be there anymore when normal, working or studying people, that also pay to play the game, mind you, get to the level needed for said content,
You should look in the mirror and just play the game you know it was intented.

ShuRun✭✭If killing a boss in the dungeon once is ok but twice is and exploit then how do players know about it? or is killing the boss three times is an exploit? Or is it 5 times? If i get banned for killing the boss once or 5 times or 5 million times - i really don't want to play that game. Why put the boss there in the first place if not to kill him/her/it. The motto of the game was Play any way you like, kill in PVP or bosses or freaking rats for that matter or collect flowers for 8 months straight.
This issue seems like a widespread problem somehow pushed in the patch or hotfix.

You can do the same thing with a zerg humping anomalies for a few hours. Are we going to ban those people, too? For finding the most efficient way, without breaking the rules, of doing something?
The fault is with ZoS, they made the game, set the parameters, and players figured out how to do it the most efficient way. Blame ZoS, the PTS guys that were supposed to be finding these issues, etc. The players are just playing the game, within the rules given them, using the systems provided. It is not the players' fault if ZoS made it too easy to get to vr12.
Hell, I can barely play at all with the new memory leak crap, and in just a few hours of actual play time I made over 2mil xp and looted about 40 epics just doing anomalies.
Should they ban me? Should I force myself to decide if they game was so poorly made that I should not play certain parts of it? Ludicrous.2 -

ShuRun✭✭elorei is 100% right - purples and souls are rewards for getting to vr12. At that level you die a lot more then you do at lvl 10. Also, one repair is over 2,500 and you do that several times a day. I spend 20-30 souls a day easy in Cyro so Hell yes it should be only right to get souls as drops and to make some purple items drop from the chests. If you play for 10-12 hrs nonstop running/grinding then absolutely you should be able to get good loot. At higher levels bank space is inadequate so feeding 16 horses per day is also expensive ( each toon has a speed horse and mule for items).
- Daily - horses 4k, souls 3k, repairs 7-10k. So it costs about 15 k per day to play at lvl 12. Where do you get that kind of money if not grinding? That is not even taking into account pots/food and enchants and gear making.Edited by ShuRun on May 24, 2014 4:39PM0 -

Beesing- YOU made a PERSONAL decision not to do something in the game. I made a personal decision that killing bunnies in the game is amoral. I have not seen anyone banned for it though. Also, your personal feelings are completely irrelevant especially when its comes to legal matters ( a ban can be appealed legallyas players have legal rights - especially if there is a hungry attorney looking for a class action). So good for you ( or bad for you ) for whatever you choose to do in the game as long as it is within the legal framework of the game.
