Endless Fury Bugged?

Can anyone confirm the magicka restoration on an enemy's death is not working? It does not seem to be for me. Not with every death.

Definitely not working for me. Endless Fury and Destruction Expert = zero magicka restoration since the patch. Bugged or nerfed? If it's bugged I'm sure it will be fixed by next year.

If all sorcerers can make a ticket about this either in game that would be awesome.

It may be because of the holiday weekend, but customer support seems to be slowed down a bit compared to their normal operations.

I tried using Endless Fury in different ways (as an opening skill, during the fight and as a finisher) and none of the explosions restored Magicka. I thought it was only the animation that was lacking, but addons didn't acuse the restoration either.

I've already submitted a ticket. I think they might be slower because they broke so many things with this new patch that they are getting flooded with tickets.

I am hoping this really is a broken thing and not a stealth nerf. As my sorcerors really need that magicka restore to survive.

The tool tip still states it restores magicka so I doubt its a nerf just a bug

Blood Magic passive isn't working too. For me at least.

It's restores health. Try to /reloadui - you'll see this in mod information text.

That would explain why I was always oom after a pull of 6 in sewers before I got infinite loaded then log in time outed....

They can't nerf a skill by removing the only thing it does. The only reason people take Endless Fury over Mage's Wrath is the Magicka restoration.

And yes it needs to be fixed, but was not as important (to me) as the memory leak/crash issue.

(VR mobs and memory leak are the most important, but they have been hotfixed already afaik. This should be the next hotfix as it made a whole skillmorph completely useless, instead of fixing it, in 1.1.2)

The whole (only) point of the morph is restoring magicka from all kills caused by Endless Fury. 1.1.2 patchnotes said that it would be fixed to include also secondary explosion kills as it should. Instead of the fix, it went in the OPPOSITE way and got bugged, so that it restores magicka NEVER !!!

So the whole morph does nothing. It is also the focal point of most sorcerer builds.
I cannot think anything more serious.

(Its easy to fix, just immediately rollback what you did to it in 1.1.2. After that, try again with the fix to secondary explosions in 1.1.3 or something).

In addition to this obvious issue, I have a question for you other scorcs.

I rolled a new character (Scorc - Destruc Staff - Resto Staff - Dark Magic & Storm Calling focus). Getting to V1 I felt powerful and all was good. After the last patch and since achieving V1 I have felt terribly under-powered.

While Endless Fury is bugged, I use potions while fighting to restore Magika so don't think that's the cause.

I run in all light armor which I understand has its weaknesses, but before this last patch I could burn the enemies down and fairly easily survive. Any fight beyond a 1 vs 1 is 50/50 if I come out alive. I'm properly geared.

Are any of you experiencing anything like this?

Oh. V1. Casual mode off.
First try to get 3 items of warlock's set.
Second - use the Critical Surge on groups of enemies. And spend 2 points to last Destr.Staff passive. Use Inner Light for +crit.
You'll have good health and mana regen, no armor needed. Use +magicka potions\food. Roll all your attrib. points into health.
Problem is not in bugged Endless Fury, but in your own hands and playability.

VR is not easy mode like under level 50, that is true.

But this thread was started as a discussion about the bugged Endless Fury. No matter how good player you are, it affects the hardest fights with very large groups or waves of enemies. At least, making them harder than before.
