can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

    It wouldn't be so bad if they'd just communicate with us. It's a patch and it sounds like it created a LOT of issues, but you have threads with players just milling around being told either nothing as they wait for responses to dxdiag files being submitted.

    I saw on some random thread on reddit where someone in CS told him it was related to the memory leak and that were pushing a hotfix for tomorrow morning.

    Can anyone confirm or is everyone out for the weekend? Hello?

    I don't think our problem is memory leak, then again if it were and they know this why not mention it on the thread / emails and such that we are waiting on.

    Could the new lag and choppy fps while ppl are playing be being caused by the many ppl who cant log in all trying to log in over and over again lagging the server?

    Same issue, can't login to the game since 12 hours, 301 error or login time out. I sent already 2 tickets 140524-003003, 140524-004227 and no answer from customer support.

    Probably the most sensible solution would be unsubscribe, let the game be for 2-5 months, and return when this BS does not happen every other day.

    Sorry for not being constructive, but my patience was strained to its limits. I play games to relax, getting the opposite result fails the purpuse I am even here in the first place.

    I'm receiving the login timeout error as well for the past 2 days. I was able to login after the patch, but now I can't make it to the character select screen.

    I am also having this issue. Had to quit the game due to apparent loading freeze, having no ability to log in with "Login Time out" messages since a couple hours after the patch went live. have tried all things that have been listed on this site by zenimax with no avail.

    just wanting to add my name down in hopes of a speedy fix.

    I have the same problem and i though my account was banned as it also says : You have been suspended from this site( when i try to log into the eso account). Ticket number # 140524-015949.
    Couldn't play thursday after the patch and spent 7 hours with zos customer service ( thanks eso customer support Eric for fixing the repair patch).
    But after the hotfix I cant log in. I couldn't play the game 2 days out of the last 3 - shouldn't we get a refund or something? I am on hold already for 2 hrs 32 min ( total after i was hanged up after 1hr and 7 min).

    ESO customer support - look at this thread and maybe it becomes noticeable that this is not an isolated event but a problem. Acknowledge it publicly at least and apologize to people. I am so frustrated now, like hundreds of others and seriously considering other games as an option.

    Crashed on zone and now locked out. Again. If I have to wait 4 days for a scheduled maintenance again for my login ability to reset without getting any help from ZOS, it's game over for me.

    Yeah no luck so far. Still getting the 301 since early morning. Worked fine last night. None of the suggested courses of action for repair have worked, including re-installing the entire game.

    I think this is the fifth thread relating to the same problem. I got email back from ZOS 5 min after i sent the question and asked me for additional info . Now 2 hrs later - NOTHING. I am on the phone and on hold for 3 hrs 5 min - wtf- really? Getting pissed more and more by the minute. Love the nice female voice telling me over and over : Don't want to stay on hold - request a callback or email us. How about - answer the phone.

    Gave up waiting last night, same page.This morning same info, same no word. The lake of communication to us is making it feel like that they have no idea whats going on even thou we tell them. 2 reinstalls now numerus repairs. Starting to wonder if the game will ever be played again.

    I have the same issue and got called by Anabela from the support team.
    She told me that my ticket will be escalated.
    This was 7 hours ago....

    I also tried to repair the game client as assigned but it didn't help.
    Therefore I assume that the cause of the failure must be somewhere on the server site.
    What I red in another thread.. if you login by a different IP, you may be able to login.

    But this is not confirmed..

    confirmed as not working...tryed to log in from a new pc at a new IP..same problem: login timed out

    Dont change anything on your PC if you connectet bevore properly!
    It is not your Pc its your Account what you let not in.
    You can try it with a Account from your wife or so....

    Hey, all. We want to assure you that often times error 301 is caused by too many people trying to log in at once. We promise our Support Team is not trying to trivialize your issue when they send you that reply. That said, we understand that for some players, error 301 has other sources. When Support sends you an email and their advice doesn't help, please do not hesitate to reply letting them know. They'll be happy to either continue investigating the issue or put you in touch with another agent who can.

    Below are several troubleshooting steps that we recommend folks try:
    • Add eso.exe, the launcher, and account.elderscrollsonline.com as exceptions to your anti-virus and firewall programs.
    • Launch ESO as administrator.
    • Launch ESO straight from the file locations as opposed to a desktop shortcut.
    • Manually check your launcher for updates.
    • Repair your launcher.

    @leilani96792, we've let our Support Team know that their first email did not go through and updated your ticket with the information you've provided here. It may help to add eso_help@helpmail.elderscrollsonline.com to your safe senders list.

    None of this works. I've repaired multiple times and uninstalled and re-installed the game twice. The error is not on our end when people can change computers and it still occurs and when others are able to log in. Some have reported that others view their character as still online. This began after the patch and often if not always is predicated on a game crash. Whether it's some issue with our accounts on your end or related to bot banning it needs to be fixed. Relate it to the US justice system- it's better to let a guilty person go free (bots) than to wrongly punish an innocent person (all of us)!

    I've also looked at the Dev Tracker and not a word has been said about this issue other than what you've posted here. It's more than too many people trying to log in at once.

    thought about doing this myself but unless something changes at Zos here shortly they wont have any players left 2-5 months from now and will be pointless to rejoin...sad thing is when this game is working its great and would likely keep alot of subs and get alot of new members,

    sad truth is tho with all these errors they will continue to get bad review after bad review that will remain on the web for people to see long after the game is fixed(if ever) and will deter new players from joining basically ending there sub base and the game which will be a shame for a game with so much potential.

    am i the only one who thinks they should start a beta server with the option for anyone to log into it at sign in (using the new content as bait) to more properly test these patchs before rolling them out?

    @jazon1972_ESO‌ you know, there will probably still be people playing, MMOs die slow deaths. A lot of people are willing to endure bugs, a fair amount don't even encounter the bugs we do. And in 6 months the player base will swell with people coming from the console side... Assuming it actually gets released then, not holding my breath there.

    Look at the Star Wars Galaxies, it was considered "dead" for a long time, but the loyal fanbase kept it alive for years after the masses left, until they finally shut the servers down. Even then, the SWG community is trying to bring it back themselves, they actually have a live version of the game last time I checked.
