can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

    I've repaired exactly 8 times
    I've downloaded and reinstalled exactly 3 times

    And ofc been doing all the silly solutions steps like 20+ times over and over again hoping everytime that they eventually will work, I'm kinda getting hopeless :(

    Hey, all. We want to assure you that often times error 301 is caused by too many people trying to log in at once. We promise our Support Team is not trying to trivialize your issue when they send you that reply. That said, we understand that for some players, error 301 has other sources. When Support sends you an email and their advice doesn't help, please do not hesitate to reply letting them know. They'll be happy to either continue investigating the issue or put you in touch with another agent who can.

    Below are several troubleshooting steps that we recommend folks try:
    • Add eso.exe, the launcher, and account.elderscrollsonline.com as exceptions to your anti-virus and firewall programs.
    • Launch ESO as administrator.
    • Launch ESO straight from the file locations as opposed to a desktop shortcut.
    • Manually check your launcher for updates.
    • Repair your launcher.

    @leilani96792, we've let our Support Team know that their first email did not go through and updated your ticket with the information you've provided here. It may help to add eso_help@helpmail.elderscrollsonline.com to your safe senders list.

    I've done all that previously as well as again last night. However as a paying customer I want you to know that "too many people logging in at once" is not an acceptable excuse to prevent other paying customers to access your product. If your log in server needs more bandwith or hardware then get it. This is about money. Your income gets reduced when paying customers can't play. We want to pay you to play this game but you guys seemed determined to push us away as customers.

    Please mods, take this serious...I just have the same issue: I wanted to log out, got endless loading screen. I quit with Alt+F4, restarted the game and can't login since then. First i get a timeout message, then for the second try Error 301...

    I backed up my addons in desktop file then deleted them. Still same issue didn't fix it so its not issue

    Logging in from another PC doesnt work. Repair either. I just wrote a ticket, we will see what happens. :(

    i do have the map markers addon installed on my main system but have no addons installed on the new laptop with the clean install so this isent our problem ether but thanks for the suggestion at this point anything new to try helps:)

    More truth cannot be spoken. This is honestly unacceptable. This patch is trash.

    I really hope this doesn't last until the next server downtime/possible fix. I ain't paying for this nonplay on my days off work no less.

    Looks like my original comment was removed from this thread. However, I still can't even get past log in. It's been 24 hrs now. I just get the time out, 301, time out, 301, rinse and repeat minigame still. An update or a hot fix for log in issues would be nice for the weekend.

    3 hrs since my last communication to CS done all they wanted. No word. Tell me you will get back to me in three days at least. Don't say "We will reply to you shortly" and never say anything again. Well over 24hrs now and all I have done was reinstall and repaired, send dxdial.txt just to hear nothing.

    I understand you guys might want to go home or what ever but let me know let us know what is going on.

    I understand "your looking into it" give us a time frame when we can log in and enjoy the game again.

    Ok great you have the mobs fixed in VR, I'm glad, I'm not there but cool what is more imortant getting people to log on or fixing mobs.

    Yes, I know many people are in that area can't play that area. 7 slots left reroll. Let them fix our log in issues so we can play as well. Your board at the "end game" reroll take your time.

    I am having the same issues as above players. Whats worse is it came out of the blue, dled craighorn patch n played all yesterday n then logged in this morning as well... now I come back n have been getting a loggin timed out for the last 6 hours. Contacted support n they said they will pass it to higher ups. Internet is working fine... O well guess ill go play Dark Souls 2 tell they can fix it.

    She told me that my ticket will be escalated.
    This was 7 hours ago....

    I also tried to repair the game client as assigned but it didn't help.
    Therefore I assume that the cause of the failure must be somewhere on the server site.
    What I red in another thread.. if you login by a different IP, you may be able to login.

    But this is not confirmed..

    Have same Issue found out it is my Account can login with Account from Friend but cannot login from mine!
    All happens after a Crash!
    Please Fix it soon!

    Same issue. Nothing works. Is not client its server side yet ZOS has yet to acknowledge the real issue. Its not just a 301 error. Its combined with a login timeout every other time. We pay $15 a month for a service yet we are blocked from it without knowing if something is being done to fix it, but don't worry the Vr 50+ and 50++ mobs have been adjusted back to their normal difficulty. Would be nice if I could experience this content but I'm stuck at the loading screen.

    Going on 16 hours for me to. 3 email responses with pretty basic try this and that before the dreaded "escalation to next department" email which means no more responses. After spending the day reading all of the different threads on this it sound like they added some stealth bot nerf, which is catching anyone whose machine crashes or hangs and then banning their account from logging in. One lady had our situation. Went across the room to her husbands computer who was in game, logged him out, tried logging in on her account, was locked like we are with the dreaded timeout.

    same problem here, was playing with no problem in few hours.. then sudennly the game get laggy, so i click quit and relog to the game, then wallaaahhh wrong pas bla bla, try login into my account on the site, wrong pass again.. get suspend, then reseting my pasword 2 time, and try log it again, still wrong pass for the game and account... lol i still have arround 60days suscribe... helppppp :'( , weekend is only the time i can play alot...but i cant even login again now.. sory for the english and ty.

    and please is dont tell me to repair etc.. i cant even login into my account from the site also.. even already reset the pasword two times.. always have the same pop up. wrong pass etc... so much for the hundred i spend for this game.

    The weekend is here. It's been 2 days now since I could not log in...I really hope this gets fixed soon. I was hoping to play craglorn for the weekend.

    Same for me, havent been able to log in since after the patch finished. i got into the character select screen hit play then a loading screen till i had to restart my computer because it froze. over 30 hours of not being able to even get to the character select screen now.
