Ok this is BS now, after downloading another 2.5g its now doing another 2.5g on top of the patch previous to that already?

and i (like some of you i am betting) wondered if it was also possible, but yes the progress bar just broke out of the patcher....
Next thing its going to escape from my Laptop.
If i don't laugh, i am going to cry its so farcical!!!

Mine did that split patch too - downloading 2.7 and then stating over for another 2-ish. I didn't get 117% though...I only got 14%!

My buddy's patcher told him his patch was 25 GB. 25 entire gigs!

That client is some messed up. But at least I'm all patched now.

The total patch is around 6 gigs, but instead of doing it in one go, they split it up. Download first half, install, download second half, install.

And your buddy's patcher sounds like it freaked out and wanted to DL the entire client again, rather than just the patches. Does he have PTR selected?
